Lladró Presents Niagara Chandelier Gold

Lladró, the world renowned Spanish porcelain company, presents Niagara Chandelier-Gold, a new version of spectacular Niagara chandelier decorated with golden luster. Over 100 handmade porcelain fairies flutter around this lamp with a diameter of 1.1 meters (31 1/2").

Pure creativity combined with the latest in fiber optic technology to produce subtle points of light that fall in cascade and bring the fairies to life.

This model joins the existing white versions in three sizes that range from 0.6 meters (23 1/2") and over 70 fairies to the 2 meter (78 3/4") version that has over 300 fairies. The fairies decoration with golden luster add a major degree of splendor to this chandelier, as well as a higher complexity, because this is a very painstaking technique which requires the skill of the best brand's artists.

Beverly Hills Celebrates Chinese New Year

The Niagara chandeliers belong to the Lladró Re-Cyclos collection, a project in which Lladró invites celebrated designers to give life to new collections using the brand’s signature elements. Under the principle "Nothing is destroyed in Nature, everything evolves and is regenerated", the German designer Bodo Sperlein was fascinated by the combination of fantasy and nature in Lladró’s works and decided to use it to create these totally contemporary lamps, with a new function and a new message, which beyond decorate and illuminate, create spaces with personality.

Like all Lladró porcelains, the pieces being presented at ICFF have been made by hand in Valencia (Spain), at the biggest little atelier in the world, a space exactly as the three founding brothers —Juan, José and Vicente Lladró— conceived when they started to fire their first porcelains back in 1953.
