President Donald Trump's Supreme Court pick, U.S. Circuit Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh, was hit with a bombshell this week as a Palo Alto University Professor has gone public with details of her sexual misconduct allegations against the nominee.

According to Gallup, President Trump job approval, over the past week, decreased by one percentage point to 40% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness as President increased by one percentage point to 54%.

Trump Nomination Imploding

Confirmation hearings for U.S. Circuit Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh, President Donald Trump's nominee to fill retiring Supreme Court of the United States Justice Anthony Kennedy position, has derailed as details of a sexual assault, of which the SCOTUS nominee "categorically and unequivocally" denies have been made public.

His accuser Christine Ford, a Palo Alto Professor, has allowed her identity to be revealed and to present the allegations, which had been disclosed in an anonymous letter to California Senator Dianne Feinstein, over the summer, publicly.

Op/Ed: The REAL Fake News

The alleged incident, which occurred while the nominee was attending Georgetown Prep School, and attending a house party in Maryland. Ms. Ford has recounted, on several occasions, details from the night and the strategic targeted destruction campaign she indicated she has experienced.

The incident included forcible groping, pinned down, held against her will, aggressive attempts to remove her clothing, grinded his pelvic and penis against her, and covered her mouth with his hand when she tried to scream.

She has also explained the long term targeted destructive campaign which according to her account included attempts to silence her and as she states, "I thought he might inadvertently kill me."

The woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault came forward with her explosive allegations on Sunday, saying the supposed attack "derailed me substantially for four or five years" and claiming that the episode rendered her "unable to have healthy relationships with men." Fox News reports

At this point Professor Ford is the only accuser to come forward with details of inappropriate and morally corrupt behavior against the Circuit Court judge.

A delay in confirmation hearings would not be the first for the embattled judge, as his appointment in 2003 by then President George Bush, was also delayed for three years and sworn into his current position in May 2006.

The sexual assault allegations, which have been independently confirmed through a polygraph test and Ms. Ford's visits with therapist, have been called a smoke screen by Republicans who see Kavanaugh as someone who can steer the court into a conservative era conversely Democrats, of course, see him as someone who will steer the nation away from citizens rights.

Fox News Host and television personality Jeanine Pirro, has called the handling of the allegations as a complete disregard for truth and justice. The former Westchester D.A also called Dianne Feinstein and her fellow democrats a "Pack of Demon Rats."

Pirro, who had been known to turn a blind eye to allegations when they came close to staining or derailing the reputation of contemporaries, most famously and shockingly allegedly allowed two law firm female pedophiles to escape prosecution while attempting to divert the focus of the case to a non-lawyer.

Leaders Commemorate September 11, 2001 Terror Attacks

Memorials were held this week commemorating the terror attacks on September 11, 2001 and the men and women from Wall Street to Washington to Shanksville who paid the ultimate price sending the resonating message live free or die.

President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump spoke at Shanksville, Pennsylvania, Vice President Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence gathered at the Pentagon, and New York politicians, leaders and thousands of family members gathered at Freedom Towers to remember.

September 11, 2001, as seventeen years have passed, each year, the details of the day, the color of the sky, the still warm fall temperatures, remain vividly clear.

It was a beautiful fall morning, an azure blue, cloudless sky, still warm temperatures, in New York, it's was the kind of day that blocked the thought of winter, with Indian summer holding back the cooler temperatures of deep fall.

Before 9:00am the beauty of the day was shattered by thick black smoke pouring from Tower 2 of the World Tarde Center. Within minutes, Tower One was hit. The shock of what we witnessed was a bit much even for jaded New Yorkers who pride themselves on handling the mean streets.

By 9:59, the South Tower collasped 56 minutes after being struck. By 10:28 both Towers were gone, reduced to a pile of rubble, and smoldered for days. Two planes in New York; Two planes to Washington, DC. The Pentagon was struck at 9:37. One left.

The President Dedicates the Shanksville Memorial

President Trump spoke at Shanksville, for those who remember, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, was were the final fight ended, as Americans, just citizens, as common and you or I, not outwardly brave, charged the cockpit of United Flight 93 stopping the final plane from reaching its destinations.

The Forty of Flight 93, the 40 passengers and crewmembers onboard the 8:00 a.m. United Airlines flight from Newark to San Francisco.  They boarded the plane as strangers, and they entered eternity linked forever as true heroes.

Soon after takeoff, Flight 93 was hijacked by evil men bent on terror and conquest.  Passengers and crewmembers began using their phones to call home.  They learned that two planes had already crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City.

Immediately, those onboard Flight 93 started planning a response.  Sandy Bradshaw, a flight attendant, called her husband and told him they were in the back of the plane preparing hot water to throw onto the hijackers.  Passenger Jeremy Glick explained the plan to his wife and said, "Stay on the line.  I'll be back."

The passengers and crew members came together, took a vote, and they decided to act.  At that moment, they took their fate — and America's fate –- back into their own hands.

In the last 20 minutes, many placed their final calls home, whispering those eternal words: "I love you."  Some said the Lord's Prayer.  And then they bravely charged the cockpit.  They attacked the enemy.  They fought until the very end.  And they stopped the forces of terror and defeated this wicked, horrible, evil plan.

Here in Shanksville, many of you raised up the first memorial –- a wooden cross, a chain-linked fence, mementos and tributes pouring in, and dozens and dozens of American flags.

A piece of America's heart is buried on these grounds but in its place has grown a new resolve to live our lives with the same grace and courage as the heroes of Flight 93.

This field is now a monument to American defiance.  This memorial is now a message to the world: America will never, ever submit to tyranny.

Earlier this week, you dedicated the final part of this memorial: the Tower of Voices.  Standing at 93 feet tall, the Tower of Voices is now the first structure visitors see when they come to this now sacred ground.  It will hold 40 beautiful chimes that ring throughout these fields — each a unique note, but all in perfect harmony.

Every time we hear those chimes playing in the wind, we will remember The Forty.  We will remember their faces, their voices, their stories, their courage, and their love.

And we will remember that free people are never at the mercy of evil because our destiny is always in our hands.  America's future is not written by our enemies.  America's future is written by our heroes.

As long as this monument stands, as long as this memorial endures, brave patriots will rise up in America's hours of need, and they too will fight back.  President Donald Trump

Iran Refuses to Stop Aggressive Action

Over the past few days, we have seen life-threatening attacks in Iraq, including on the United States consulate in Basra and against the American embassy compound in Baghdad.  Iran did not act to stop these attacks by its proxies in Iraq, which it has supported with funding, training, and weapons.

The United States will hold the regime in Tehran accountable for any attack that results in injury to our personnel or damage to United States Government facilities.  America will respond swiftly and decisively in defense of American lives.

Reality Wraps The New York Primaries

A contentious primary battle for the New York State Democratic Governor candidate ended this week with Cynthia Nixon, actress and activist, failing to ignite the support from New York voters who handily gave Andrew Cuomo a resounding victory.

Ms. Nixon, should have thought about representing her district before challenging a name represented with a New York democratic political dynasty.

With all precincts reporting Governor Cuomo received 978,138 votes or 65.6% and Ms. Nixon, 512,585 votes or 34.4 % of the votes. It wasn't a sweep as the former Sex in the City actress won 13 up state counties.

Andrew Cuomo will face Republican Marc Molinaro and Green Party Candidate Howie Hawkins in the November election.

Lieutenant Governor Race will see incumbent Kathy Hochul who secured 733, 591 votes or 53.3% of the voters run against Republican Julie Killian and Green Party Candidate Jia Lee.

In a four person race for Democratic Attorney General challenger NYC Public Advocate Letitia James secured the nomination by nearly 9 percentage points. She will face Republican Keith Wofford and Green Party Michael Sussman in the November election.

If Ms. James is successful in her bid for the New York State Attorney general's office, she would be the and first African American female, and second woman after the current AG's Barbara Underwood, who took over after former AG Eric Schneiderman resigned over sexual misconduct allegations to hold the office. Her opponent Keith Wofford is the co-managing partner for Ropes & Gray, LLP.

Les Moonves Resigns and Julie Chen Takes the Fall

In the wake of former CBS CEO Les Moonves' decision to resign effective immediately due to repeated accusations of sexual misconduct and other morally corrupt behaviors came to light, his wife longtime CBS employee Julie Chen has been targeted as a supporter.

The unfortunate tide of Mr. Moonves' actions and his former front burner battle with Shari Redstone, the daughter of Sumner Redstone, the has created a untenable working environment for Ms. Chen, who made her position clear, as she signed off from her evening gig on the hit Big Brother.

"I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on Big Brother." Chen did indeed return to Big Brother, but she ended the episode  by telling viewers, "I'm Julie Chen Moonves. Good night."

Her support for her husband of fourteen years is not surprising. She had made a similar statement when the allegations first surfaced. Her decision to use his name was a power move that will ultimately bring about her discharge from employment at the Black Rock.

Obviously, the slate will be wiped clean of the name Moonves and any good that he accomplished throughout his tenure will be forever tarnished by the accusations which forced his resignation.

Ms, Chen-Moonves, it seems as every Hollywood insider is explaining must also resign her duties from the daytime "The Talk" and night time "Big Brother" as her husbands morally apprehensible breeches have now become her cross to bear.

Since when is the wife of any violent predator held responsible for her husbands actions? The double standard which Ms. Chen is facing will unfortunately result in a concerted effort to have her resign from both.

Chen's Talk co-hosts awkwardly discussed their longtime leader's absence last Monday, with Sharon Osbourne confessing, "It's very embarrassing and upsetting to have to talk about [Julie's] husband, but… we feel it's right." Regarding Moonves, Osbourne maintained, "Obviously the man has a problem." Sara Gilbert also chimed in, saying that while she loves and supports Chen "always," before adding, "This is an important time in our culture. And just because this hits close to home, it doesn't change this story. All women's stories matter. This is very serious and the appropriate actions need to take place," Yahoo Entertainment reported.

With publicists explaining how they feel they can't justify having their clients interview on "her" show victimizes Ms. Chen for the actions of her husband. Wives better check their husbands closets as any allegations may end up costing them and by extension children and family business endeavors and employment.

Op/Ed: Adding My Voice and Story to the Many Who Were Once Silenced by Violence

Time, however, and in our instant news and messaging environment, can be a both friend and foe. The possibility of another more egregious story presenting itself, with seems very likely as there are many victims who seek justice, who will gladly go forward, who will name names, undergo the scrutiny of examination, who will stand in the face of defamations, in the hope of having every rapist predator exposed and brought to the light to face the same.
