stARTup Art Fair Returns To SanFran’s Hotel Del Sol For 4th Year With Over 80 Artists

stARTup Art Fair is pleased to present its fourth annual San Francisco edition to take place April 27 - April 29, 2017 at the Hotel Del Sol in the Marina District, transforming the hotel into a contemporary art experience.

The modern art fair turns over the classic mid-century motor lodge's rooms and grounds to 80  artists from around the country and across the state. Each year's Opening Night Party (Friday, April 27, 7-10pm) is open to all members of the public at the price of a General Admission ticket with proceeds benefiting one of the city's cornerstone arts nonprofits, Root Division.

This will be the eighth fair edition in a row that stARTup presents a roster of artists where women and woman-identified artists outweigh men in the exhibition lineup.

Now in its fourth year, stARTup Art Fair returns to transform the Hotel Del Sol into an immersive, contemporary art experience through the exhibition of artwork by a diverse group of independent artists, local art nonprofits, artist performances, installations and panel discussions over the course of three days from April 27 - April 29, 2018.

In addition to 60 committee-selected exhibitors, stARTup Art Fair San Francisco presents a program of special exhibitions by nonprofit partners: 3.9 Collective,  ArtSpan, Root Division, and Asian American Women's Artist Association, a program of dynamic panel discussions addressing art collecting and contemporary art trends as well as installations by artists woven into the hotel environs including a large-scale entrance work by Paz de la Calzada.
