With an enduring commitment to socially relevant, premium content in the 10-to-40-million-dollar range and the financing to bring their vision to bear, Runaway Planet invites open collaboration across multiple genres in pursuit of meaningful media. "We like to think of ourselves as a unique destination for film; a 'planet' to runaway to that gives our audiences a place to escape. Our goal is to make movies we want to watch," said co-founders Donowho and Callie. "We're able to take our collective experience to strategically guide our projects from development to delivery and bring the most impactful films to market."

Callie most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films, following stints at Oceana Media Finance and years of practice as an entertainment attorney with a focus on film finance, production and distribution.

Donowho brings over two decades of hands-on directorial and producorial acumen to Runaway Planet. From his early years as an agent and Chief Operating Officer of the Kaplan-Stahler Agency, he developed a keen eye for story and a knack for navigating packaging and negotiations.  Donowho most recently directed Acts of Violence, starring Bruce Willis, Cole Hauser and Mike Epps.
