Belgian director Fien Troch has been selected as a juror of the Orizzonti section at the 74th Venice International Film Festival, which will be held from August 30 to September 9, 2017.

Having the world premiere of HOME there last year and then winning Best Director was a wonderful opportunity. So to come back this year to award the work of other filmmakers will undoubtedly be an invaluable experience."

Fien Troch will participate in the presentation of the Orizzonti awards for Best Film, Director, Actor, Actress, Screenplay, Short Film and the Jury Award. The jury that will decide will be be presided over by Gianni Amelio and, in addition to Fien Troch, includes the film makers Rakhshan Banietemad, Ami Canaan Mann, Mark Cousins, Andrés Duprat and Rebecca Zlotowski.
