Driver Charged in New Hampshire Motorcycle Carnage

The driver of the pickup truck, Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, that inadvertently caused a devastating collision Friday evening in New Hampshire killing seven members of a Marine Jarheads MC Motorcycle club, has been charged with seven counts of negligent homicide.

Zukovskyy, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was driving a Dodge pick-up with a vehicle trailer attached by the ball hitch, when his vehicle crossed the medium. He was able to swerve the truck back into his traffic lane avoiding the pack of ten motorcyclists who were approaching. His action was quick and the trailer jackknifed, creating a wall across the oncoming lane.

"Dawn Brindley, a woman riding with the group, survived the crash after getting off her bike and rolling away, New Hampshire TV station WMUR reported. "It was just all fire," Brindley told WMUR. "I just looked around. Somebody helped me up. I was just hysterical,"' USA Today reported.
