Wine Uncorked: More than Just Sniff, Swirl, Sip

Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc 2018

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for the Los Vascos vintage are grown exclusively in the Casablanca Valley of Chile. The early frost and lingering colder temperatures. The aroma of citrus fruits can be easily discerned with notes of exotic fruits. For the untrained connoisseur indiscernible notes of lemongrass and lemon verbena present a unique blend resulting in a pure and dynamic flavor, refreshing the palette with a delightful finish.

Los Vascos Chardonnay

Los Vascos’s Chardonnay, a fresh, delicate wine with a harmonious fruity bouquet. The vineyard’s own Chardonnay grapes from Casablanca valley, further north between Santiago and Valparaiso. Flavorful, fresh and pleasant, this wine has an appealing character with a good length of fruit. The nose offers an explosion of aromas with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, melon, banana, and exotic fruit.

Summer’s Here and The Wine is Sparkling Rosé

This year’s Chardonnay has a shorter growing season due to a combination of early rains and higher than normal temperatures for a significant portion of the growing season. The early harvest did not effect, the quality of the vintage.

Los Vascos Rosé 2018

The Los Vasco’s Rose pale pink color catches the eye immediately, even before the vintage is decanted. A pleasant and easily discernible  strawberry scent is detectable. The first sip, enjoyable, lively, refreshing with a smooth creamy finish. The Rosé is best served young and chilled.
