President Donald Trump took to twitter minutes after the Saturday evening London Bridge Terror Attack to show his concern and express support pledging, to the once inseparable ally, the full support of the United States.

According to Gallup, President Trump's job approval, over the past week, decreased one percentage point to 37% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness as President increased three percentage points to 57%.

London Bridge Terror Attack Kills Seven; Injures Nearly 50

Seven Londoners were killed and up to thirty injured as a van, used as a battery ram, mounted the sidewalk and mowed through pedestrians on the famous London Bridge, before running into the guardrails followed by random machete stabbings.

The Van barreled down the bridge, weaving, and zigzagging, bypassing singles, or couples on an evening stroll to focus on groups, striking them at nearly 50mph causing bodies to fly 20feet into the air. The van continued toward the Borough Market area located on the opposite side of the Bridge.

Media reports three men jumped from the white van and randomly began stabbing crowds, entering in to bars, restaurants, and nightspots in the trendy Borough Market area, which is about three tenths of a mile from the Bridge.

The three terrorists were confronted by police, shot, and killed.  Ambulance Services have reported they transported 48 persons to area hospitals and on Sunday reported receiving 100 phone calls from the London Bridge incident.

The two separate attacks, carried out by the same team of attackers, struck just twelve days after the Manchester Arena bombing which killed 22 and injured 120 and it is the third attack in 72 days, with the Parliament/Westminster Bridge Attack which killed four and injured 40 less than three months ago.

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning has dawned in London with the headlines across all newspapers detailing the horror of Saturday evenings twin terror attacks. While most concentrated on the London Bridge attack The Observer calls the van and stabbings "twin attacks."

Photos display the area near the famed landmark with heavy police presence, and two of the three men suspected as carrying out the terror attacks. One clearly can be seen wearing what looks like a suicide belt. Police later determined the canisters affixed to the belt were a hoax and not explosives.

In a statement from London Metro Police, Assistant Police Commissioner Mark Rowley said, Since late yesterday evening, [Saturday, June 3], the Metropolitan Police Service has been responding to incidents in the London Bridge and Borough Market areas of south London, We are treating this as a terrorist incident and a full investigation is already underway, led by the Met's Command.

He further stated the following points:

  • At 22.08hrs yesterday evening we began to receive reports that a vehicle had struck pedestrians on London Bridge.
  • The vehicle continued to drive from London Bridge to Borough Market
  • The suspects then left the vehicle and a number of people were stabbed, including an on-duty British Transport Police officer who was responding to the incident at London Bridge. He received serious but not life-threatening injuries.
  • Armed officers responded very quickly and bravely, confronting three male suspects who were shot and killed in Borough Market. The suspects had been confronted and shot by the police within eight minutes of the first call. The suspects were wearing what looked like explosive vests but these were later established as hoaxes.

Police Make Multiple Arrests

London Metropolitan Police have made twelve arrests in the London Bridge/Borough Market Attacks. Raids were conducted in the Barking neighborhood in east London where one of the attackers lived of the twelve arrested eight were released and four detained.

The Investigation into the Manchester Arena bombing is ongoing with Metropolitan Police, Interpol and other Counter-Terrorism Agencies making the 17th Arrest in the Manchester England area with the investigation also leading into Germany.

Police have found a vehicle which is being called a "significant find" as police continued to determine whether Abedi acted alone or worked with a larger network.

Manchester Remembered

Ariana Grande arrived in Manchester and spent time at local hospitals visiting those who had been injured in the May 22 Manchester Arena bombing, which occurred minutes after her Dangerous Women tour had ended.

She along with global superstars Katy Perry, Justine Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Parrell, Usher, Cold Play, The Black-Eyed Peas, That That and Niall Horna, are preparing to take the stage in Manchester.  The concert, that sold out in under six minutes, will be broadcast on ABC and throughout the world.

The Holy Month of Ramadan

Global terror specialists are on heightened alerts and urging citizens around the world to be vigilant as the Muslim tradition celebrates Ramadan, the holy month that ends Saturday, June 24.

The Islamic State has encouraged all Muslims to rise in an all-out war on infidels especially those in the West. In a message published on YouTube the terror group defended the Manchester Arena bombing indicating the killing of the innocent hold favor in the eyes of the hierarchy.

National Election Campaigning Suspended

It's no longer Politics as usual in the United Kingdom with all three major parties suspending campaigning again for the second time in twelve days following the London Bridge/Borough Market Terrorists Attacks that killed seven and injured nearly 50.

Prime Minister Teresa May, whose Conservative Party has taken a beating in the polls over recent weeks with Chief Challenger Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn closing the lead to only a single point, has made her strongest anti-terrorism statements to date laying out a four-point plan which detail the truths behind the terror mentality and finished with "Enough is enough."

The missing points of course within the Prime Minster's plan, which represent a gentle approach encouraging all to be vigilant, which they must and the public in any major city, any target city are the extended eyes and ears of the local counter terror agencies. See something; say something is a common well know across the UK.

Laying out a four-point plan, and to her credit it did contain valid and solid information, and the facts remain, three attacks in 72 days, lauded statements by the Caliphate organization encouraging a full out war during Ramadan, lends itself to action and not campaigning words and reminders of our ideals and democratic way of life.

A solid hit, kill the charging pride, the predator that has sprung from the jungle to wage war upon our camp; and yes, evil for evil begets only evil and the days of believing defending oneself with military action is evil is a mindset that must be erased in order to fight an enemy who has only one mindset and that is to kill, maim, or murder every citizen of the west.

To live free from terrorism requires war on terror; not simply well laid out plans, speeches, campaign rhetoric. It requires action, harsh, and yes what many will deem as cruel, and what others will see as the casualty of war. War is not pretty; and it is effective; it is time all nations, all members of the coalition stop looking in the mirror hoping their appearance is intact and get down and dirty and get it done.

Toxic Trump Dumps Paris Agreement

President Donald Trump, despite personal please from his closest advisers, has withdrawn the United States from the Paris Climate Accord and Agreement negotiated by his predecessor in favor of a yet to be announced new deal that he will negotiate.

With only Syria and Nicaragua refusing to sign the Paris Climate Accord, President Trump has decided to add the United States to that list making the U.S. a comrade in environmental arms and of the same mentality as terrorist, dictators, and the world's worst, most evil oppressors.

The Paris Accord is an agreement with the United Nations, the global authority that meets annually in General Session for all member nations to converge at the New York City Headquarters after a series of Global Meetings beginning with the G7, followed by the G20. The core statements center on the negotiated reduction in Co2 levels by each induvial nation.

The most recent G7, the first since the election of Donald Trump saw each of the seven largest global economies maintaining its pre-election agreement.

The two expected targets for President Trump, China and Japan, both leaders the president has entertained at his Private Golf Club Mar-a-Lago, remained committed to the Paris Accord as it was ratified on December 12, 2015.

The Paris deal is the world's first comprehensive climate agreement which can be read in it's entirety here.

The aim of the convention is described in Article 2, "enhancing the implementation" of the UNFCCC through:

"(a) Holding the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2 °C above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels, recognizing that this would significantly reduce the risks and impacts of climate change;

(b) Increasing the ability to adapt to the adverse impacts of climate change and foster climate resilience and low greenhouse gas emissions development, in a manner that does not threaten food production;

(c) Making finance flows consistent with a pathway towards low greenhouse gas emissions and climate-resilient development."

Countries furthermore aim to reach "global peaking of greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible". The agreement has been described as an incentive for and driver of fossil fuel divestment. [Wikipedia]

President Donald Trump, before he withdrew the United States from the Paris Agreement, called leaders from Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom and France, to explain his decision.

California Governor Jerry Brown Issues Statement Vows to Maintain Paris Agreement

In response to President Donald Trump's exiting the Paris Agreement California, New York State and Washington State have vowed to maintain the commitment of the agreement despite the best efforts of Donald Trump.

California's Governor Jerry Brown issued a scathing statement which refuted the presidents main points indicting Trump "has absolutely chosen the wrong course" and "he's wrong on the facts " and added "He's wrong on the science. Totally wrong. California will resist this misguided and insane course of action. Trump is AWOL but California is on the field, ready for battle."

The statement continued, "California, the sixth-largest economy in the world, has advanced its nation-leading climate goals while also growing the economy. In the last seven years, California has created 2.3 million new jobs - outpacing most of the United States - cut its unemployment rate in half, eliminated a $27 billion budget deficit and has seen its credit rating rise to the highest in more than a decade."

The entirety of Governor Brown's statement can be read here.

Governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló Issues Statement on Trump Actions

"Climate change is a real problem and it requires all of us to leave a sustainable planet to the next generation. Our administration is committed to protecting the environment.

"As a Governor who is also a scientist, I oppose the United States withdrawal from the Paris Agreement. Our administration is committed to protecting our environment, and we recognize that even small changes can have big, lasting effects on our planet.

Puerto Rico, an Island that 3.4 million American Citizens call home, would suffer greatly from the devastating effects of rising sea levels. But we all stand to lose if we don't take meaningful action right now.

We call upon all local governments across the nation to continue to pass rules and regulations that protect our climate. As most of the world move forwards, our nation cannot sit idle and lag behind."

Two Prominent CEO's Bail from the White House Advisory Council

Walt Disney Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Robert A. Iger has tender his resignation to White House Advisory Council after the President refused to remain committed to the Paris Agreement.

In the short announcement via his personal Twitter platform, the Disney Exec said, "As a matter of principal, I've resigned from the President's Council over the Paris Agreement withdrawal."

Iger, who financially supported Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton, issued a longer statement indicating "Protecting our planet and driving economic growth are critical to our future and they aren't mutually exclusive. I deeply disagree with the decisions to withdraw from the Paris Agreement and, as a matter of principal, I've resigned from the President's advisory council." [Deadline]

Elon Musk, the billionaire Space X founder and Tesla Co-Founder and CEO also indicated he would resign from the two Presidential Advisory Boards if the Trump exited the Paris Agreement. Trump announced his decision and Musk announced via Twitter "Am departing presidential councils. Climate change is real. Leaving Paris is not good for America or the world."

Bloomberg Pledges

Billionaire Politician Michael A. Bloomberg, the former Mayor of New York City and owner of Bloomberg News Services has pledged $15mm of his own money to the United Nations to cover the funding the global agency stands to lose after President Trump exits the Paris Agreement.

The money raised by the philanthropist Bloomberg and other partners will aid the nearly 200 other nations maintain their commitments to the Paris Agreement, that call for a concerted effort to reduce greenhouse gases and slow global warming.

Bloomberg, who may have 2020 Presidential aspirations, is the United Nation's Secretary General Special envoy for cities and climate change and has made it possible for the struggling nations, committed to the agreement to stay the course, no matter the politicking or maneuvering in Washington.
