Trump-Pence Republican National Convention

President Trump accepted the nomination of the Republican party by once again throwing caution to the wind and inviting more than 1000 guests to the White House to hear his speech.

His speech had all the right words, presented a unified republican party, never hinting of the fractures and splits which have followed him throughout his tumultuous term. Appealing to his few victories, the Border Wall, which may be unattractive and interrupting, has stemmed the flow of illegal immigration. Both political parties recognize illegal immigration as an urgent issue. The voting population sees illegal immigration as a systemic issue that must me managed.

The-pre-pandemic economy was shockingly strong, so much so that many believed it would be the single most determining factor in the election and post pandemic that belief has materialized. The economy and virus have become strong contenders for the single most determining factors in the upcoming election.

COVID-19 has affected more than 25million worldwide and while medical science has explained social distancing and personal protective equipment will assist in slowly the spread, the president presented a Laissez Faire approach to the 1000+ crowd. The expectation is that at minimum ten percent of the attendees will become infected.

As cities are erupting, Trump has continued to voice his support for law enforcement. The pushback from the defund and cancel culture may provide a post RNC boost.

Excerpt From Trump Republican National Convention Speech

"In recent months, our nation and the entire planet has been struck by a new and powerful invisible enemy. Like those brave Americans before us, we are meeting this challenge. We are delivering lifesaving therapies and will produce a vaccine before the end of the year, or maybe even sooner. We will defeat the virus and the pandemic and emerge stronger than ever before.

What united generations past was an unshakable confidence in America's destiny and an unbreakable faith in the American people. They knew that our country is blessed by God and has a special purpose in this world. It is that conviction that inspired the formation of our union, our westward expansion, the abolition of slavery, the passage of civil rights, the space program and the overthrow of fascism, tyranny, and communism.

This towering American spirit has prevailed over every challenge and has lifted us to the summit of human endeavor. And yet despite all of our greatness as a nation, everything we have achieved is now in danger. This is the most important election in the history of our country.

Thank you. At no time before have voters faced a clearer choice between two parties, two visions, two philosophies or two agendas." (Transcript excerpt by The New York Times).

Vice President Mike Pence Reintroduces Himself and Launches His Presidential Campaign

Pence, who is often see and not heard, used his Republican National Convention Speech to re-introduce himself to the voting population. The golden wheat fields of America's heartland, the hope for better tomorrow's, the love of God, country, family and an educated, proven and electable leader.

Pence, a consummate politician, can be relied upon to clarify any Trump inconsistencies when asked the identical questions by the White House press corps. He is a politician and should the day end for the republicans in November, it's doubtful Mike Pence will retire. His God, America and family values resonate to many, even as America moves further away from religious ideals.

As religious leaders, who position themselves on manmade pedestals, fall dramatically and are exposed for the double standard fraud the perpetrate, Pence appears to walk the fine line he advocates.

The stain of his running mates exposed actions have not appeared to attach itself to him. Many would say his only flaw is a misinterpretation of biblical scripture which fails to recognize choice as God's greatest gift to mankind, allowing others to make mistakes, to engage in free will, to choose today the path of one's own life.

Vice President Mike Pence Republican National Convention Speech

"Over the past four years, I've had the privilege to work closely with our president. I have seen him when the cameras are off. Americans see President Trump in lots of different ways, but there is no doubt how President Trump sees America. He sees America for what it is, a nation that has done more good in this world than any other, a nation that deserves far more gratitude than grievance, and if you want a president who falls silent when our heritage is demeaned or insulted, he's not your man.

Now we came by very different routes to this partnership, and some people think we are a little bit different. But, you know, I have learned a few things watching him, watching him deal with all that we have been through over the past four years. He does things in his own way, on his own terms. Not much gets past him. And when he has an opinion, he is liable to share it. He certainly has kept things interesting, but more importantly, President Donald Trump has kept his word to the American people." (Transcript excerpt by The New York Times).

First Lady Melania Trump Republican National Convention Speech

"Good evening, it seems like just yesterday that we were at our first convention, where my husband accepted the Republican nomination and then became our 45th president of the United States. He had the energy and enthusiasm for (someone) who should lead this nation. It's real today as it was four years ago. I know I speak for my husband and the entire family when I say we have not forgotten the incredible people who were willing to take a chance on the businessman who has never worked in politics. We know it was you who elected him to be commander in chief. And we know it is you who will carry us through again. We were humbled by the incredible support then and we are still grateful today. Election: A Nation on the Verge

The 2020 Election season if nothing else it will be one for the record books, an election of epic and pivotal importance, the internal convulsing which is erupting across America has become a split screen force as the actions bring to the forefront targeted practices which must cease and the need for reeducating seasoned law and order veterans.

The twin issues have ignited multiple pockets of disturbance and sideline pockets of mob actions, anarchy, lawlessness, and a continual debate on where the line is drawn in the right to peaceful protest. Sounds simple enough. The right to peaceful protest ends at the point the protest turns violent.

This generation taking to the streets did not invent protesting, peaceful protests, or mob violence. The protests of the 1960s from The March on Washington to the student occupation of Columbia University Hamilton Hall, massive and widespread protests against the War in Vietnam, and the 1970 Earth Day demonstration which is still unmatched in size and scope.

The Future of the Workforce: Skills that Match 21st Century Demand

Nor are these police officers the first in history to use suppression tactics which have been known to kill suspects. The more famous cases stem from the Los Angeles chokeholds which were fed by misinformation and racism and even used more recently, even though outlawed, in the murder of Staten Island's Eric Garner.

Evolution of both the species, the people, and the process further civilization. The push toward that is the convulsing we feel, the old giving way to the new, the birth of a new way. A silent birth may be a tactic to learn endurance, reaction to pain is more common.

Society is reacting to the pains, the pain of lives cut short, of disenfranchised people, of leaders who ignore sectors of the population, of hopelessness, of systemic racism, systemic discrimination, of deep divides.

A nation so integrated it is segregated. People like similar, the prefer to voice their opinions with others who affirm the same. Small voices of dissidence encourage debate, and rarely will groups allow for more than one dissenting opinion to populate their circle.

America is living Plessy vs. Ferguson, separate but equal and the truth is we are separate and not even equal. California faces a pervasive systemic grass roots opposed racism culture. Other states undoubtedly face the same.

Mainstream employment is not the only industry where laws are violated. The virus has unleashed a Darwinian animalistic predatorial jungle instinct as those in the creative arts are faced with mounting theft of Intellectual property.

Stone hedge boundaries between criminality and legality have been moved by those in power and the trickle-down effect has allowed disgruntled groups to flourish, taking action into their own hands, believing the feed which ignited their personal hatred and form alliances building a discriminatory fraudulent enterprise believing they can crush the source they have determined to be the cause of all their injustices.
