Titan Submersible Explorer Suffers Catastrophic Breech

Titan submersible submarine, owned by extreme tourism company OceanGate, suffered a catastrophic implosion during a deep-sea exploration of the sunken ship Titanic, approximately 12,500 feet from the surface, killing all five on board.

"The passengers on the 21-foot sub were British businessman Hamish Harding; Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his teenage son, Suleman; French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet; and Stockton Rush, CEO of OceanGate, the company that operates the vessel," CBSNews.com reported.

The Titan submersible craft, the size of a minivan which the five people sat cross-legged, and opposite each other, left its docking station Sunday, June 18, 2023, for what was supposed to be an approximate nine-hour deep sea exploration of the Titanic wreckage.

The vessel wasn't officially reported as missing until nearly nine hours later when it failed to return. The few who had taken this trip in the past explained as news stations scrambled for information, that losing communications at that depth is common, which also explained why OceanGate employees failed to report the vessel missing.

Three nations, the United States, Canada, and the French, amassed a search and rescue team consisting of two sonar detection aircrafts, and ten ships, each equipped with sonar detection capabilities searched the treacherous waters off the coast of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, where 111 years ago claimed Titanic, the grandest ship ever built, hoping to find survivors. dwindled with each passing day.

With only 96 hours of emergency oxygen, it was a race against time and against all odds to find the craft. Throughout the week reports of possible banging noises captured on underwater sonar buoys positioned throughout the oceans by governments to aid in any type of catastrophic submarine disaster seemed to present a hopeful scenario.

Debris Found

As the window of possibility closed Coast Guard Rear Admiral Mauger, who had been providing media updates throughout the week announced the vessel had suffered a catastrophic implosion.

"Searchers found the debris approximately 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic with robotic equipment that arrived Thursday morning. During the underwater search, a remotely operated vehicle found five identifiable pieces of debris that told investigators it was the remains of the Titan submersible, the Coast Guard said," reported The Wall Street Journal.

This type of catastrophic event would cause the occupants to instantly incinerate, and as in creation would be instantly turned to dust and ash. Personal effects may eventually be found, although it is not expected.

At the end of the 96-hour window, United States Coast Guard Admiral name, stated that an underwater rover, (country and name of vessel) had discovered pieces of the Titan's fuselage near the wreckage of the Titanic, and the debris field confirmed that the submersible suffered a catastrophic implosion.

"When a submarine hull collapses, it moves inward at about 1,500mph - that's 2,200ft (671m) per second, says Dave Corley, a former US nuclear submarine officer. The time required for complete collapse is about one millisecond, or one thousandth of a second. . . . When the hull collapses, the air auto-ignites, and an explosion follows the initial rapid implosion," BBC reported.

It has been reported that the U.S. Coast Guard reviewed data and discovered sonar evidence of the explosion on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Concerns Over Safety

Titanic Director James Cameron, who is known for his blockbuster films, and has made more than 30 dives to the Titanic shipwreck site said, "Many people in the community were very concerned about this sub," Cameron said in an on-air interview. "A number of the top players in the deep submergence engineering community even wrote letters to the company, saying that what they were doing was too experimental to carry passengers and that it needed to be certified and so on. It's really quite surreal," The Guardian reported.

Salvage Operation

The Titian implosion is similar to an aircraft explosion, the pieces are meticulously gathered and transported to an airplane hangar and like a jigsaw puzzle, slowly pieced back together, in hopes of determining with precision and exactness the cause of the disaster.

It is expected that a salvage operation will be underway and what pieces can be collected will eventually be retrieved and returned to a government facility. It has not yet been announced if Titan had a black box or other data collection device that, in case of a situation like this, could be retrieved.

"As a remotely operated robot maps out the debris field from the fatal Titan submersible implosion, investigators will be reviewing voice recordings from the mother ship that carried the vessel and its five occupants on its journey to the site of the Titanic wreckage, officials said," CNN reported.

DARPA and China

It would seem plausible that DARPA, the United States Defense Advanced Research Project Agency, which is responsible for safeguarding the defense of the United States through advanced research projects, would have been interested in information gathering of any type of submersible, created by any citizen of any country, to ensure that the science and technology used to operate a craft such as the Titian was also secured by DARPA.

Just as DARPA should be aware of advanced science and technology that create submersibles, China, who would also be determined to understand and secure any advanced technology.

Former Trump Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said in a Wall Street Journal Op/Ed, "The intelligence is clear: Beijing intends to dominate the U.S. and the rest of the planet economically, militarily, and technologically."

It is impossible to dominate without knowledge.

Russian Coup that Wasn't

Wagner Group mercenary Leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the first major threat to Russian President Vladimir Putin, 70, who had galvanized his troops to march on Moscow, made a deal with Putin and will be exiled to Belarus.

"The dramatic if brief revolt shifted the landscape for the Kremlin and the 16-month-old war in Ukraine and prompted Russia to pull soldiers back from the battlefield to defend the capital, a stunning recognition of the threat posed by Wagner Group soldiers under the command of Yevgeny Prigozhin," APnews.com reported.

Hardly worth the mention if it were not for the fact, that Putin, since his unprovoked attack on the Ukraine has become a global pariah and as time waits for no one, will see he future and Stalin-esque fantasies of greatness evaporate as the Russian economy continues to plummet and the war, the new Afghanistan, will result in failure.

Putin wouldn't be the first Russian leader to fall by a coup. Hardliners launched a coup against former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev in August of 1991, by December of that year, Gorbachev, resigned and his reputation remains intact as a man who chose unity over division.

Alexi Navalny, 47, currently in prison for the next decade, can even from his prison cell rally hundreds of Putin opposition demonstrators. With the possibility of a coup around every corner Navalny could become Russia next leader.

No Labels Political Group Gains Power

As Americans become more disgruntled with the choices the two-party system holds, a new political party No Labels, has continued to gain momentum and after the January 6 insurrection, and limited options for leadership, No Labels is quickly growing into a viable and respected third-party option for U.S. voters. The concept is a unity ticket,

The vision of building a bi-partisan government and presidential ticket, which is resoundingly fresh and invokes an America of yesteryear a time when Washington was not a polarized pack of wild dogs constantly attacking each other and never getting to the business of governing.

No Labels vision and FAQs is posted on the website and explains "No Labels is working to ensure Americans have the choice to vote for a presidential ticket that features strong, effective, and honest leaders who will commit to working closely with both parties to find commonsense solutions to America's biggest problems. The centerpiece of our effort is a nationwide ballot access effort, which will enable the nomination of an independent Unity presidential ticket if that's what the American people want."

Suspected Remains of Julian Sands Found

Human remains have been discovered in the area were Julian Sands, 65, the British actor who went missing while hiking last January, on Mount Baldy, in Southern California.

Sands, an avid and experienced hiker, disappeared January 13, after attempting to climb the 10,000-foot mountain and became disoriented after inclement weather on the mountain made conditions impossible to navigate, it is suspected. More than 16 search and rescue attempts were made to find the actor, including helicopters, drones, deputies, and 80 volunteers.

The Sand's family released a statement "We are deeply grateful to the search teams and coordinators who have worked tirelessly to find Julian," his family said in their first statement since search efforts began. "We continue to hold Julian in our hearts, with bright memories of him as a wonderful father, husband, explorer, lover of the natural world and the arts, and as an original and collaborative performer," reported Vulture.com.
