PA Mom, Lover Held In Torture Murder of Toddler

Scott McMillan, 3, according to the Chester County Township District Attorney Tom Hogan, was the victim of sadistic torture and repeated beatings, of which killed him after a beating spree that began after he refused to eat breakfast.

"Little Scotty McMillan is dead. Over a three day period ... he was systematically tortured and beaten to death. He was punched in the face and in the stomach. He was scourged with a homemade whip. He was lashed with a metal rod. He was tied to a chair and beaten. He was tied upside down by his feet and beaten. His head was smashed through a wall," Hogan said in  a released statement.

The EMT’s were called to the house in West Caln Township, a small town located in Southeastern PA, after reports of an unresponsive child. They found the tortured body of Scott McMillan covered with bruises, lacerations, and puncture wounds.

Jillian Tait, the baby’s mother, lived in a trailer with Gary Fellenbaum, his wife and another child.

Fellenbaum was arrested and charged with capital murder, a crime punishable by death. Jillian Tait, the child’s mother was also charged with murder. Hogan has stated he will seek the death penalty for both.

The beatings were witnessed by an unidentified third person, who has since been arrested and charged with child endangerment.
