Grisly Murder of CEO a Professional Hit

Fahim Saleh, a Manhattan tech CEO, was found decapitated in his multi-million-dollar lower east side apartment and his dismembered body stuffed into garbage bags, after a family relative became worried when she had not heard from him.

Saleh, 33, was last seen Monday afternoon around 1:40PM, on elevator surveillance footage. The tape showed him entering the elevator of the luxury condo with the killer who was dressed in what has been described as ninja apparel, all black, wearing gloves, mask, and hat, and carrying a duffel bag.

The $2.5million dollar apartment, located at 265 East Houston, did not include a doorman and allegedly had state of the art security including direct floor elevator access. The footage also shows the talented tech executive looking at his killer unable to mask his aggressive concern as apparently only the executive's floor had been accessed for a stop.

The same surveillance footage shows the killer springing into action by paralyzing the victim with a stun gun when the elevator opened to the seventh floor, disabling him immediately.

The victim's sister telephoned the police asking they perform a welfare check, when she had not heard from her brother in more than 24 hours. The gruesome scene was discovered by officer from Manhattan's 7th Precinct at about 3:30PM Tuesday.

New York Police department sources have stated the grisly murder appears to be a "professional hit."

They also added that while the investigation is still in the beginning stages it appears from the almost bloodless scene that the perpetrator was interrupted when a female relative of the victim entered the apartment, on Tuesday.

"He clearly knew what he was doing. We think his intent was to get rid of the body parts and go back and clean it up and make it look like nothing happened. He left before he finished the job," a source told the New York Daily News.

The killer is believed to have exited the apartment through a stairwell connected to the condominium leaving behind the power saw still plugged in and garbage bags stuffed with body parts.

Multiple media sources have stated the young entrepreneur made a bad business deal which is one of the theories under investigation in this case.

Saleh, a Bangladeshi-American Venture Capitalist founded the Nigeria bike-haling ride share service, Gokada, the first of its kind in the region.
