Second US Journalist Beheaded by Iraqi Terror Group

Global media is reporting a second U.S. journalist, Steven Joel Sotloff, was beheaded by ISIS/ISIL, the Iraqi Terrorist organization in retaliation for the United States' assistance to the Iraqi people placed under siege by the militant group.

The Associated Press has reported a video similar to the one received that recorded the death of James Foley has been received. Sotloff, kneeling in an orange t-shirt with wrists bound behind his back, appeared in that video.

Steven Sotloff had also appeared in the recent video released by the terror group showing the heinous murder of James Foley. The two, Sotloff and Foley were apparently held hostage together for some time. Sotoloff a freelance journalist had reported for TIME, the Christian Science Monitor, the National Interest and Foreign Policy, had reported on the Middle East until the time of his kidnap in August 4, 2013 in Syria.

Like James Foley, Steven Sotloff was brave and courageous to the end.

A second generation terrorist, Abdel Majed Abdel Bary, the son of an Egyptian terrorist held in the United States was generally believed to be the man committing the crimes. He has not been arrested.

This is a developing story.
