Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills: A Rapturous Escape

Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, located on the edge of the golden triangle, is an oasis of luxury that begins the moment the double doors are opened and one crosses the threshold into the grand foyer.

Having had the opportunity to enjoy the Four Seasons on several occasions the stays are always a luxurious experience. The staff, from Concierge to Housekeeping, is professional and attentive going out of their way, each time, to ensure every need, want, and desire is met.

The Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa - Luxurious, Soothing, Carefree Comfort

The well appointed furnishings of the Deluxe Balcony rooms include desk with stationary supplies, relaxing comfort armchair and ottoman. Flat screen television console center that, in addition, to standard cable and local broadcast channels, offers in room movies and a Four Seasons video tour. The unit powers on to a welcome screen that includes the guest’s name.  Of course, the sleeping accommodations are of the highest quality with 300 thread count Frette Linens, half body down filled pillows resting atop cloud-like mattresses.

Having stayed on both the upper level and the lower floors one would think there would be a difference. There is not. Although, personally the upper level with an east facing Juliette balcony, overlooking Los Angeles, the Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills, with all its beauty and enjoying the sunrise over the mountains, is spectacular; the lower floor accommodations offered grandeur of their own with double French doors leading to a full balcony that, had it been clear, would have been perfect for an early morning breakfast.

If one were to single out a particular feature or specialty that made the stay unique it would be the turn down service. Returning to my room after business obligations, the evening housekeeping staff had adjusted the Bose Stereo setting to the local jazz station, turn downed the bed and placed bottled water bedside. The room was welcoming and warmly inviting, the lights of LA twinkling through the open balcony doors, listening to Jazz sounds wafting on a balmy night. It was delightful.

Located in the console the in-room private bar offers an assortment of sweet and dry snacks as well as a nicely stocked manual wet bar that includes domestic and imported beers, wine and softer drink choices and if they are missing, upon arrival, one quick call to room service and the snacks will be restocked immediately.

The Four Seasons provides an assortment of complimentary Bvlgaria beauty products including creams, cleansers, shampoos and conditioners, which the housekeeping staff generously replenishes, designed to add that special luxurious touch to ones stay.

LUXE Sunset Boulevard: Exquisitely Opulent and Simply Elegant

Guests are encouraged to don the plush Frette robes and enjoy the Health Club/Spa facilities. Both steam and sauna rooms, depending on particular preference of heat, provide deep tissue relaxation and leave one stress free and exquisitely calm. With appointment, massages as well as other health, wellness and beauty treatments are available. In room services can also be arranged.

Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills provides guests with a uniquely landscaped outdoor leisure deck surrounded by Palms trees and potted Orange tree plants, a fifty meter pool, whirlpool, and private cabanas that include phone service, television, poolside service, alfresco dining or double chaise lounges.

The Four Seasons offers complimentary Danishes and coffee in the lobby from 4:00AM to 8:00AM and the Business Center provides multiple computers, printers and other internet communications needs twenty-four seven.

In addition to guest room services, Four Seasons Los Angeles provides three fine dining alternatives each offering a particular style from light lunch fare, poolside at the Cabana Restaurant. The Windows Lounge, serving appetizers and drink selections to locals and guests and Culina, serving Modern Italian, under the direction of Executive Chef Vic Casanova recently showcased on Food Network’s Iron Chef.

Additional Amenities provided by the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills include, Limousine Services within the local community, a pre-arranged choice of national daily newspapers from The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Financial Times, The New York Times, or the Los Angeles Times delivered to the door, overnight shoe shine service and DVD/CD player with IPod docking station.

My stays at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills were simply wonderful and the memories magically return long after the visit is over.
