The Avengers opens in a mythical world where evil forces gather and a chosen one, a leader, through mind control, seduction and terror begins his accession to supreme power.

Robert Downey, Jr. reprises his role as billionaire technology genius Tony Stark/Iron Man in Marvel Entertainment’s latest installment from the superhero franchise. He leads an ensemble of new Superheroes who are united with him to save the world from an unknown destructive force that pits brother against brother, hero against hero, known against unknown.

As evil in unleashed, strategic members of the elite global peacekeeping unit S.H.E.I.L.D. are recruited through mental manipulation to partner with evil personified, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and with him reign as he is set to take over the world.

The Superheroes are notified of the defection of one of their own who leaves the facility with a valuable scientific element, the equivalent of nuclear power. As the team readies for the ultimate battle of good versus evil Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) under the leadership of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Agent Maria Hill,  (Cobie Smulders) summon all team members to active duty.

This leads to the four corners of the globe where one by one, the heroes are introduced. The scenes that follow have the entire cast assembled for War strategy sessions that introduce the audience to newest members of the SHEILD team including Thor (Chris Hemsworth) The Hulk/Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Clint Barton/Hawkeye(Jeremy Renner), Captain America, Chris Evans and reintroduced to Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson).

What follows is nothing short of Marvel magic with snappy, fresh dialogue, realistic engagements between characters, impeccable comedic timing, sharp witty exchanges and dazzling special effects!
