New York City's Tribeca neighborhood was the scene of horror and terror as a lone wolf terrorist made a deliberate turn onto a walk/bike lane plowing through pedestrians and bicyclists leaving bodies scattered along the Hudson River promenade.

The terrorist, identified as Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, 29, originally from Uzbekistan, was heard shouting "Allahu Akbar" as he exited the rented Home Depot, single axel, pick-up truck and pointed fake weapons, later discovered to be a BB gun and second, pellet gun, before he was shot in the abdomen by New York City Police.

Report indicate the terrorist entered the Hudson River pedestrian/cyclist promenade at Houston Street, traveled south nearly 20 blocks, which is equivalent to one mile, ending at Chambers Street before turning back onto the West Side highway and hitting a school bus broadside before coming to a stop and exiting the vehicle.

Witness said he jumped out of the vehicle shouting "Allahu Akbar" before being shot by NYPD. The suspect has rushed to emergency surgery and is expected to survive.

SPAIN Terror Attacks: Nation on High Alert as Twin Terror Attacks Leave 14 Dead; Hundreds Injured, 17 Critical

President Trump, New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, former Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have all condemned the attacks which have been officially deemed terror bringing in the FBI and other federal agencies.

In a series of four tweets, President Trump said, "In NYC, looks like another attack by a very sick and deranged person, Law enforcement is following very closely. NOT IN THE U.S.A." He followed with "We must not allow ISIS to return, or enter, our country after defeating them in the middle east and elsewhere. Enough!"

As the situation began to unfold her said, "My thought, condolences and prayers to the victims and families of the New York City terrorist attack. God and your country are with you!" He ended with "I have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this!"

Former Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made this statement via twitter, "New York's resilience is stronger than a cowardly act of terror. Thinking of the victims, their families, & the responders who saved lives."

LONDON Terror Attack: Four Killed; 40 Injured in Lone Wolf Islamic Attack; Eight Arrests in Birmingham and London

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said at the press briefing, "The new terrorist tactic which they have called for publicly, are these lone wolves who commit an act of terror. We're not going to let them win, and if we change our lives, we contort ourselves to them, then they win and we lose. We'll go about our business. there's no ongoing threat. You will see more security forces, but that's only because it's an abundance of caution and not a signal of anything else. And there will be continued investigation and justice will be done. But again, to those we lost – they're in our thoughts and our prayers."

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said at the press briefing, "It's a very a painful day in our city – horrible tragedy on the West side. Let me be that clear based on the information we have at this moment, this was act of terror. And a particularly cowardly act of terror aimed at innocent civilians, aimed at people going about their lives who had no idea what was about to hit them. We know that this action was intended to break our spirit but we also know New Yorkers are strong, New Yorkers are resilient. And our spirit will never be moved by an act of violence."

Over the past year there have been more than twenty ramming attacks around the world. The majority of these attacks are in Europe and are finished with the attacker either stabbing or shooting additional victims.

This is a developing story.
