The Five Best Luxury Super Cars From The 2016 Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva Motor Show is easily one of the biggest car shows in the automotive collection presentation cycle, and every year we see all the major car companies unveil some of the most impressive vehicles available.

This year, in addition to a host of supercars, the Geneva Motor Show exhibited many distinguished automobiles. Everyone from Lamborghini to Aston Martin debuted their latest and greatest, and some were more impressive than others. Here we will take a look at some of the coolest supercars that debuted at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

5. The Aston Martin DB11

Aston Martin came out swinging at the Geneva Motor Show with their all-new and highly-anticipated DB11. The car brings forth a new design language that was first introduced by the DB10 which was used in the most recent James Bond film.

The DB11 is all about combining a luxurious, exhilarating, and comfortable driving experience in true GT fashion. The vehicle features a new aluminum body, a new suspension, a stylish interior cabin, and electronics supplied by Mercedes-Benz. Under the hood it offers 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 that cranks out 600 hp and 516 pound-feet of torque. It can reach speeds of 200 mph while simultaneously offering an extremely smooth ride. It’s going to go on sale this coming fall and will retail for around $212,000 dollars, and we absolutely cannot wait.

4. The McLaren 570GT

McLaren’s newest supercar, the 570GT, also made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show. In essence, this supercar is supposed to be one that’s not only powerful and quick, but one that is comfortable enough to be used as a daily driver. The $200,000 dollar car features an expansive interior space with plenty of leather trim, a roof almost entirely made from glass, and it’s even got a small trunk compartment.

In terms of performance, the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 provides the car with 562 hp in total. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and it tops out at speeds of 204 mph. It’s probably one of the most refined and polished cars McLaren has ever made, and it will surely be quite popular.

3. The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso

The new Ferrari GTC4 Lusso might be somewhat polarizing for fans, however it’s still a noteworthy car. It is essentially the family man’s Ferrari, as it’s not only extremely powerful and premium, but there’s room for four passengers.

It features a beautiful naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 that delivers some 680 bhp and it can reach speeds of 208 mph. But again, the real appeal with this car is that there’s actually room in it for more than two people and it’s even got a small trunk. It’s the Ferrari that you can pick up the kids from school.

2. The Lamborghini Centenario

The Centenario was created by Lamborghini as a vehicle that would celebrate Ferruccio Lamborghini’s (the companies founder) 100th birthday. While all 40 Centenarios have been sold before they even showed it off, it’s still an amazing supercar.

It features a body made entirely from carbon fiber, a typical Lamborghini design that’s insane looking, and a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that pumps out 770 horsepower. With a top speed of 217 mph and a 0 to 62 mph time of just 2.8 seconds, the Lamborghini Centenario is more of a hypercar than a supercar, which is probably why it costs $1.9 million dollars.

1. The Bugatti Chiron

As great as all the vehicles on out list are, Bugatti’s newest vehicle, the Chiron, was easily the show stopper of the Geneva Motor Show. This was one of the most anticipated cars in recent memory, and now that it’s finally here, we cannot contain our excitement.

Bugatti’s best known for creating the fastest production car of all time, the Veyron Super Sport, and the Chiron is even faster and more powerful than that car. The car is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine that delivers some 1,500 hp all together. It can reach speeds of 261 mph (it’s actually limited to that speed as it can go even faster) and it accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in under 2.5 seconds. They will only be producing just 500 Chirons in total, and despite their $2.6 million dollar price tag, this will surely be the best supercar you can get for a long time.
