President Biden may have been sidelined in thought, but that hasn't stopped him from maintaining his agenda both foreign and domestic, including positioning the Ukraine to defend itself, and building a legacy that elevates the American people.
The President's job approval rating, according to the website fivethirtyeight.com for the period ending September 15, 2024, increased by 0.2% to 40.0% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness remained constant at 55.0% of those polled. A slight 3% of the population polled have no opinion. Ratings are calculated weekly.
Averaging the National Polls, with the Tuesday, November 5, 2024 election in 50 days, Vice-President Kamala Harris's popularity with prospective voters has increased by 0.7% to 48.0% over the former president and convicted felon Donald Trump, whose popularity with prospective voters has increased by 1.2% remained constant at 45.4%.

Harris, Trump Debate
More than 67.1 million Americans tuned into ABC for the first and only president debate between Vice-President Kamala Harris and former President Donald J. Trump, 15 million more than the first Biden/Trump debate held in June.
The three U.S. Cities that had the highest share of voters has been released by the Nielsen rating company, and to show the importance of Pennsylvania, the top two positions are Pittsburg at 44.2% and Philadelphia at 43.4, and West Palm Beach, Fl at 43.3%.
Since Tuesday's debate the scorecard victory that nearly all media, and political pundits, have bestowed upon Vice-President Kamala Harris, has been presented in a "she won, he imploded" style, which is true.
I didn't hear anything pivotal, no new revelations from either. Maybe it was because I had watched the Democratic National Convention and the June Trump-Biden debate. I had heard the positions of all the democrats, and Trump's policy positions were no different then in June.
While his effort to operate within the rules lasted for the first 30 minutes, and either through self-judgement, unless he had electronic knowledge of his how debate performance was resonating and that he was unable to shift the momentum in his favor, he resorted to his tried and true fearmongering tactics. Trump's debate style is a lot like the movie character "Deadpool," a lot of jabbering with no real point made, and then once he began to lose ground, his "Gaston," alter ego, another Disney fantasy character, took over and everything was about fearmongering. Enforce, the immigrant who eat your pets, steal your children, destroy your home.

Border Control
Border control may be the one victory that resonates with many voters, clearly those in the Southern Border states, and it is important to note that Border Control, and the subsequent Immigration has been a problem for more than 40 years. It didn't begin with the Biden Administration and the Trump administration didn't create an absolute masterplan that would end the southern border immigration issue.
Clearly, stronger border controls are necessary. Not every nation in Middle or South America is persecuting their citizens to the point that they are deserving of asylum status. Immigrants from Ukraine or Gaza are more deserving . As the United States does not have open immigration, like the UK, choices need to be made, and more importantly more funding needs to be allocated to better serve the people of the United States and the protection of the Southern border.
Another key point was the Abortion platform. Once the Supreme court reversed Roe v. Wade, the GOP believed that their long-held platform gained a foothold, however, once clear red states began initiating grass roots campaigns that stopped their state from banning Abortion, the elder statesmen and women in the party began to realize they cannot campaign on Pro-Life platform without alienating women voters.
Trump Imploded Spewing His Fearmongering Lies
During the debate, it became clear that the former president needed to inject abortion fearmongering into the conversation and explained to the audience that the democrats were in favor of no-time limit abortion access, including post-birth execution of newborns that were severely disabled.
Even to the uniformed voter, murdering infants is a bit extreme but follows his pattern of 'if you elect the democrats, they will allow immigrants to eat your pets, provide constitutionally protected abortion at nine months, and what is now being called post-birth abortions, murder your children, and burn your houses.'
"Five years later, Trump appears to be citing that interview as evidence of what he calls Democrats' "radical" position on abortion access; his campaign didn't respond immediately to an inquiry about it from CNN this week. But clinicians and researchers in reproductive medicine told CNN that his comments are a dramatic misinterpretation of reality," CNN reported.

A Crack in the Red Wall
From a historically red state, Kansas, the non-profit publication Kansas Reflector, echoed the opinions of many, which surprisingly favored Harris, adding she was future oriented as opposed to Trump's dehumanizing views.
What is critical about the post-debate analysis from the Kansas Reflector is what is considered the Red Wall, the swath of Middle America lost in the days of yesteryear, and following the Republican candidate as a moralist with the nation's best interest at heart.
Presidential strategists believe the state's voting record in past presidential elections is the clearest predictor of the state's expected swing. This election is different, in addition to the 41 million Gen Z voters, who are aging into the voting process, and the disappearance of the general apathy that had a stranglehold on the voting population, which usually favors tradition, and demographics, race, age, gender, each are critical to the political strategists' predictions. All these factors are an algorithm that spits out a path to victory.
To hear from this non-profit's publication presents a crack in the GOP's clear hold on Middle America states, and challenges the pre-determined algorithm that had state's electoral votes position in favor of Trump.
"In post-debate analysis, many have shared that historic fact when reporting on post-debate polls showing Harris as the clear winner. What the debate did show is that Harris received positive reviews for looking and sounding presidential and future oriented, with a positive attitude about the country's future. Trump maintained his dystopian view of the country and spent considerable time on the past — his, Biden's and Harris' — and interjected unproven claims about immigrants eating cats and dogs and committing crimes in record numbers," KansasReflector.com.

Coronavirus Total
The CDC has recommended every person from age six months, including senior citizens should receive at least one shot of an updated COVID-19 vaccine, annually. The death toll from Covid-19 has dramatically decreased, as has transmission of the virus. Even as confirmed new cases continue each week, fewer are dying from the newer variants.
For the seven days ending September 15, 2024, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases reported by The World Health Organization increased by 130,678 confirmed cases totaling 776,137,815. The total worldwide death toll increased by 1,718 to 7,061,330 deaths. The United States has stopped providing Covid data to the World Health Organization. (Data updated September 8, 2024, from The World Health Organization).
False Facts or Just Lies
Finally, one doesn't need a bullpen of interns and assistants for the fact checking, while it helps, unfortunately Trump's embellishments, and outright lies, were clear enough so that the undecided voter, held hostage by the mythical illusions that a utopian America is possible under a Trump presidency, could see them.
He presented more than 30 unsubstantiated false facts, which most would call lies, essentially, mixing a little fact with a lot of lies, equals a false fact, politics newest rationalization method.
While there were many false facts presented in the debate. Trump's assertations of immigrants in Ohio, the home state of his running mate, eating people's pets, or the wild geese in the parks, was fueled by a picture of dark-skinned African American, holding the dead birds that had just been hit by an unconcerned driver and left in the road. There is no evidence the man was Haitian. The city was Columbus, Ohio, and not Springfield, Ohio.

Trump and 2020
Trump again asserted his conspiracy theory that he won the 2020 election. Voting revitalizes a competitive spirit in every person who invests their vote in a candidate, even to the most uncompetitive. Choosing a candidate represents a deep connection between one's personal beliefs and the candidate, and when that candidate loses it is a personal reflection. Trump is a sore loser.
There is no evidence he won the 2020 election. In every state where he or his cronies, have asserted voter fraud, the courts have found no evidence, and the outcomes have been disastrous for those such as former Trump's former attorney Rudolph "Rudy" Guiliani who now faces bankruptcy, a fine of $148 million, and has since been disbarred for spreading lies of widespread voter fraud.
Trump's Recycled Birther Lie
He also attacked Vice-President Harris claiming she misrepresented her racial identity. This is a recycled lie; Trump has used when attacking the birthright of former President Barack Obama and it was used as a barometer to gauge the American people appetite for disinformation and to position himself for a presidential run. It is the same lie, with a new spin.
9/11 Conspiracy
Trump didn't end the spread of false facts at the sound of the buzzer he showed up the next day, September 11, Patriots Day's at the 9/11 Ceremony to honor the memory of the fallen who died in the September 11 attacks.
"The next day he went to memorials for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with far-right conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer — who last year shared a video declaring the assault an "inside job" and more recently helped spread baseless allegations that Harris got forbidden debate tips through high-tech pearl earrings," The Washington Post reported.

Navient Banned From Servicing Student Loans
Navient, formally known as Sallie Mae, has been exposed as a predatory lender by the Consumer Protection Fraud Bureau, and has been banned permanently from participating in the student loan program.
The proposed settlement "announced Thursday comes nearly eight years after the CFPB sued Navient, formally known as Sallie Mae. Navient directed student loan borrowers into more costly repayment plans and away from lower-cost income-based choices, an investigation by the CFPB found. Navient is looking at paying $100 million to be dispersed among hundreds of thousands of borrowers and $20 million in fines," CBSnews.com reported.
The Biden Administration remains dedicated to its commitment to assist student loan borrowers who have been exposed to the predatory lending practices which exponentially inflated the student loan balances with accrued interest which in some cases tripled the original loan value. The Department of Education website explains that a temporary restraining order has been issued and updates will be posted, as they continue to forge another path to maintaining their commitment to the American people.
