Donald J. Trump, Republican Presidential Nominee, has offered the Vice-Presidential spot on the GOP ticket to Governor Mike Pence of Indiana, who has accepted. Trump announced he would delay the official press conference due to the Nice attacks.

The Bastille Day Massacre in Nice, the seaside Mediterranean playground, detracted the Republican Presidential candidate from the full court press usually covering Mr. Trump’s campaign.

Mr. Trump, a skillful social media user, took to Twitter, the micro-messaging platform, as he has throughout the primary season campaign to announce his VP choice.

“I am pleased to announce that I have chosen Governor Mike Pence as my Vice Presidential running mate. News conference tomorrow at 11:00 A.M.,” Trump said via Twitter.

Pared down with no fanfare the show king maintained his scheduling with the Republican National Convention set to begin, July 18 in Cleveland.
