U.S. Aligns with Israel

President Biden stated when addressing the Hamas led terror attacks, "The United States stands with the State of Israel, just as we have from the moment the United States became the first nation to recognize Israel, 11 minutes after its founding, 75 years ago."

Israel Hit with Coordinated Unprovoked Terror Attacks

Hamas terrorist stormed the borders of Israel, in a multi-branched, well-planned, coordinated attack, unleashing surface to air missiles striking bases as far north as Tel-Aviv and in quick succession sent ground forces across the borders overrunning several military bases, dropped air raiding paragliders into the streets, and attacked by sea.

"The broad Hamas assault caught Israel's military and security establishment off-guard. Militants invaded by air, land and sea, according to the Israeli military, penetrating at least four military bases along Israel's border with Gaza," The Wall Street reported.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu statement indicting Israel is in a "long war" signals a restraint on the part of the Prime Minster with a determined effort to defend itself against the unprovoked terror attacks, instead of total annihilation of the Palestinian state.

World News: The National Education System - Hostages of Obligation

What was most surprising was the restraint of Prime Minster Netanyahu, who as the nations' longest serving leader and strongest deterrent against the advancing effort of Palestine, one would have expected Gaza to be aflame from a complete and total annihilation, with bombing raids on a scale unseen.

Many Israeli hostages taken as Hamas terrorists attacked borders have been killed and their bodies dragged through the streets of the Gaza strip, in victory, much like Al-Qaeda terrorist celebrated the September 11, 2001, terror attacks against the United States.

"Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that the war against Hamas will take time, and be hard," CNN reported.

The Gaza Strip, which the world predominately knows as the land within the nation of Israel, inhabited by Israel's enemy, the state of Palestine, recognized by the United States in November 2012.

The region, a strip of lush land, 140 square miles of coastline, bordering on the Mediterranean Sea, has become home to more than two million people, who believe they are being held hostage in their nation and deserve the right to expand their border and territory and violate the territorial sovereignty of neighboring Israel, much like Russia decision to invade the Ukraine, in a land grab.

"Muhammad Deif, the leader of the military wing of Hamas, said in a recorded message that the group had decided to launch an "operation" so that "the enemy will understand that the time of their rampaging without accountability has ended," reported The New York Times.

The state of Palestine over the recent past, which has lived in unstable stability, appeared to step back from their ingrained deep seeded beliefs of utilizing violence to advance their cause. This attack has proven they were just waiting for the right moment.

Although funding for the attack has not yet been determined, it is believed to be funded by Iran a declared Hamas ally. The firmly established animosity in the region and especially Israel's opposition, along with other nations in the Middle East, and the United States, to any nuclear capabilities by Iran, resulted in decades of effort to dismantle Iran's nuclear program.

"Ali Akbar Velayati, a top adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, said in a statement: "This victorious operation will certainly expedite the collapse of the Zionist regime and promises its imminent annihilation," the semi-official news agency Fars reported," Reuters reported.

In a June 2023 U.S. Congressional report released stated,  "U.S. sanctions have adversely affected Iran's economy but Iranian government behavior remains a threat to U.S. interests and those of partners including Israel. U.S. sanctions target persons (i.e., entities and individuals) inside or outside Iran whose actions benefit Iran's decisionmakers."

Israel as an ally of the United States, remains an enemy of U.S. enemies.

House Upheaval

The animosity between former Speaker of the House Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is not a new thing. During the extended voting process for McCarthy to secure the position, the hold out during each of the 15 ballots voting "present" and even on the 14th ballot switching his vote to "no"

According to rollcall, Gaetz voted "present" again on that 15th and final ballot. But  this time the other four Republicans who voted against McCarthy on the 14th ballot — Arizona's Andy Biggs and Eli Crane, Virginia's Bob Good and Montana's Matt Rosendale — also voted "present."

The Republican members of the house have been forced to wade through the mud of the former election and heavily weigh their loyalty to a lie verses the loyalty of their constituency. Attempting to move past the 2020 election, the lies of stolen elections, the investigation, the convictions, the January 6 insurrection, and personal bitterness and hostility has created instability in the GOP congressional body.

McCarthy Out as Speaker; Interim Evicts Pelosi from Office

With the looming government shutdown, averted by a 45-day stopgap bill, the first order of business, the interim speaker of the house, GOP Speaker pro tempore Rep. Patrick T. McHenry (R-NC), moved instead to exhibit a land grab and issue an immediate eviction notice to former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who at the time of receipt was in California attending the memorial service for the late Senator Dianne Feinstein.

"In a statement, Pelosi said, "this eviction is a sharp departure from tradition" and noted that, when she was speaker, she gave former speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) "a significantly larger suite of offices for as long as he wished," reported The Washington Post.

With the pressing issues affecting the recent upheaval in the House, for the first order of business the eviction of Pelosi, seems to reflect the mindset of the Republican leadership who seem to be without wherewithal to determine the direction of the House. The unfortunate outcome is that the ouster of former speaker of the house Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), sent the House GOP spinning uncontrollably in a freefall and the eviction notice appears to be an attempt to grasp at straws to stop the spiraling downfall.

Senator Dianne Feinstein Laid to Rest

California Senator Dianne Feinstein, the longest serving senator in U.S. history, died last week at her home in Washington, DC. She was laid to rest in her hometown of San Francisco.

Her recent health battles were well noted in the media, with many using her as the foundation for arguments on agism, and political service. Devotion to public service may wane throughout the years, and as each day brings new struggles for government and constituents who place their trust in government stewards, it is ultimately the voter who decides when it is time for leaders to retire.

Democrat leaders, including President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, New York Senator Chuck Schumer, California governor Gavin Newsom, former California governor Jerry Brown and San Francisco mayor London Breed were all in attendance to pay tribute to her dedication.

"She was always tough, prepared, rigorous, compassionate. She always served the people of California and our nation for the right reasons," Biden said in recorded video remarks played at Feinstein's memorial outside San Francisco City Hall," ABC7news.com reported.

For those too young to remember she wasn't always Senator Feinstein. She guided San Francisco through the dark times after the shooting death of San Franscico mayor George Moscone, and San Franscisco Supervisor Harvey Milk, the first openly gay politician to be elected to a political office, who were gunned down in their offices by former San Francisco Supervisor Dan White.

On the verge of quitting politics, Feinstein was elected mayor of San Francisco on month later in December 1978, and held the position for a decade, revolutionizing the city infrastructure and more importantly building a city of tolerance for the large LGBTQ+ population.

In 1992, she was elected to the U.S. Senate in a special election, where she continued to serve the people of the state of California until her death September 29, 2023.

USC GYN Pervert Found Dead

George Tyndall, a former University of Southern California gynecologist was found dead in his Southern California home this week according to his attorney, Leonard Levine. Tyndall was awaiting trial for 29 felony counts of sexual assault and abuse, and six counts of penetration of an unconscious person.

"In 2021, USC agreed to pay more than $1 billion in settlements — the largest payout in higher-education history — to the more than 700 women who had accused Tyndall of repeated sexual assaults and of unnecessary and inappropriate touching, over the course of three decades at a campus clinic," reported The Washington Post.

Tyndall worked at the university for 30 years before he was placed on leave in 2016, three years before the prosecutor's office filed charges.
