FinTech: Euro Start-up, Native Spaces, Secures Funding

The Native Spaces start-up, founded by Tanya Bencheva-Vigier, which offers more than 700 atypical event venues for rent throughout Europe, has announced a €2 million round of financing from Vitosha Venture Partners and MFG Invest.

This fundraising will enable the launch of an application at the end of 2023, connecting customers and owners, and the development of the business in France and Europe.

Since 2019, Native Spaces has been offering exclusive event venues for rent. From private homes to boats and museums, the platform makes available singular venues that are often closed to the public. With a strong tech focus since its creation, each Native Spaces user is supported by tools that make administrative tasks easier for owners, such as managing payments and insurance, and ensure that venue bookings run smoothly for organizers.

Native Spaces can also help with all the other services involved in organizing an event, such as setting up contacts with caterers, DJs, and security. In time, customers will be able to book the best services directly via the Native Spaces app. For BtoB customers, a member of the startup's staff even hosts them.

FinTech: Humanized Live Online Video Sales Revolutionizing Luxury Retail

Tanya Bencheva-Vigier, founder of Native Spaces, links real estate and events through her online platform. "Organizing "out of the ordinary" events is complex and time-consuming, whether in terms of finding a unique venue or setting up all the right services. At the same time, many extraordinary spaces remain inaccessible and under-utilized, such as private properties, gardens, museums or galleries. I created Native Spaces to make the organization of unique events more accessible and easier. On the platform, people can find the space best suited to their needs, book and pay in just a few clicks. This process used to take weeks." explains Tanya Bencheva-Vigier.

In 2O22, the startup counted over 100 events organized.

This first fundraising will enable Native Spaces to develop its offering, especially by expanding its area of operation. By 2023, the startup aims to increase its user numbers by a factor of 5.  With a very strong offer in the south of France and an increasingly strong presence in major cities such as Paris or Lyon, Native Spaces wants to continue its expansion in France.

Tanya Bencheva-Vigier's fundraising is also an opportunity to continue developing technology for the events industry. At the end of 2023, an application powered by artificial intelligence will be launched, which will make connecting customers and owners even easier.

"Tanya Bencheva-Vigier's concept immediately appealed to us. Native Spaces is an attractive investment opportunity, as it opens up a whole new segment in the events market disrupted by Covid-19.Nowadays, companies, and especially those with teams in every corner of the globe have an even greater need to deepen relationships through shared experiences in unique and stimulating settings, and to create precious memories for everyone involved. In addition, Tanya Bencheva-Vigier impresses us by the way she has developed a singular vision and an inspiring strategy. On a daily basis, she executes them with the deepest dedication and professionalism." explains Marin Iliev of Vitosha Venture Partners.
