Open Russian Film Festival of Author's Cinema "Winter"

The first Russian auteur film festival "Winter", which will be held in Moscow on December 2-8, announces the main competition program. It includes ten expected Russian films and includes films by Konstantinopolsky, Fedorchenko and Tverdovsky shot in 2021-2022.

The festival program includes Tamara Dondurei's drama "Nearby" about the death of a loved one with Ekaterina Ermishina, Ingeborga Dapkunaite and Tatyana Drubich, "Doctor" by Artem Temnikov, where the main role - Dr. Khristoforov - was played by Sergey Puskepalis, as well as a new film by Alexei Fedorchenko snakes of Ulli-Kale" about the relations between Russia and the Caucasus in the 19th century.

Also in the competition is the film by Ivan I. Tverdovsky "Flood" , which is a screen version of two works by Yevgeny Zamyatin - the stories "Flood" and "North", the film "Waves" by Mikhail Brashinsky about trying to survive the death of a loved one and loneliness with Victoria Tolstoganova and Vladislav Abashin, and the picture "The Lesser Evil" by Viktor Shamirov about the relationship of a married couple who have long lost their passion, with Alexei Rozin, Viktor Dobronravov and Polina Agureeva in the lead roles. The audience of the festival will also see a new work by Gregory of Constantinople "Clipmakers" about a hero whose path to fame lay through the dashing nineties, and the horror "Medea" by Igor Voloshin based on the script by Vasily Sigarev.

In addition, there are two films of the leading representatives of the Yakut cinema - Stepan Burnashev and Lyubov Borisova - in the competition. The detective drama "Aita" tells about the all-consuming parental love, the destructive power of the crowd and how little facts play in our lives now. It is based on real events. "Don't Bury Me Without Ivan" is a story about the friendship between the Russian artist and the author of the famous painting "Shaman" Ivan Popov and the Yakut Stepan Beresekov, who suffered from lethargic sleep.

The Russian festival of author's cinema "Winter" will be held in Moscow for the first time on December 2-8. The venues for the review will be the Khudozhestvenny and Illusion cinemas.

The founders of the Open Russian Film Festival of Author's Cinema "Winter" are the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Alliance Film Company, with the support of the Russian Cultural Foundation. Anyone who wishes to register will be able to enter the competitive screenings.

Also within the framework of the festival, the first Forum of Moscow Film Schools will be held, where leading masters of specialized educational institutions in Moscow will hold master classes and creative seminars.
