World News: Israel Mayor Suspects Weapons Cache Earmarked for Terrorism Caused Explosion

Former Israel Mayor David Rubin suspects the massive factory explosion in Lebanon, Beirut is a cover story created by the state media to hide the fact that the detonation was really a large weapons cache, earmarked to terrorize Israel.

The decades of generational hatred between Israel and Lebanon and their Middle East allies, as well as the history of terrorism in Beirut certainly is cause for suspicion. The possibility of domestic terrorism is also an explanation with the intent to make way for new factions to rise within Lebanon as the Kateab Party offices, the oldest political party in Lebanon, were located near the explosion site and destroyed, and the party leader killed.

David Rubin explains the foundation of his beliefs.

Q: The explosion, according to most early news media reports, was an accident, such as a factory mishap. You apparently think otherwise. Do all former Israeli mayors have such suspicious minds?

A: With thousands of terror attacks against Israel from that region, it is more than mere suspicion. Clearly, when you have an explosion that large, severely damaging buildings within several city blocks, and even causing some damage to a distant airport, it was more than fireworks or a gas leak. We have no concrete evidence yet, only circumstantial evidence, but an explosion of such magnitude would be impossible in a fireworks factory. A Hezbollah bomb-making factory under the guise of fireworks is much more likely.

Q: Forbes Magazine seems to be vindicating you, reporting that the Lebanese Prime Minister just admitted to there being 5.4 MILLION pounds of ammonium nitrate stored in the dockside warehouse in Beirut.

A: Yes, that was 15% as powerful as the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945. Furthermore, the Beirut explosion created seismic waves equivalent to a 3.3 magnitude earthquake.

Q: What do you think was the purpose of having such a large number of explosives in that Beirut building?

A:  The terror group Hezbollah basically controls Lebanon and is always looking for new places to discreetly hide their weapons and bomb-making operations, which is clearly for use against Israel. If they want to store explosives in a factory, no one will dare stop them, not even their Prime Minister.

Q: What is the origin and backing of Hezbollah that gives them free reign in Lebanon?

A: Hezbollah was created by the regime in Iran to further their aim of destroying Israel. Iran continues to support them with large amounts of money, much of which was handed over to them by President Obama in those infamous photos of billions of dollars in palletized cash.

Q: All kidding aside, you have totally justifiable suspicion that this was terror related as you and your son were victims of a terror attack. Tell us about that.

A: I was wounded in a terrorist shooting attack and my three-year-old son was shot in the head in that attack. Thank God, the bullet missed his brain stem by one millimeter and after several operations, we both survived. It was very traumatic for us, but what I realized is that many thousands of other Israeli children have suffered from similar trauma or worse, which is what led me to establish the Shiloh Israel Children's Fund, for the purpose of healing the trauma of the terror victim children.
