According to the plot of the series, eight completely different women (by age, marital status, character, status), burdened with everyday problems, go to a beauty salon not only to cheer up and increase self-esteem, but also to simply pour out their soul. Love affairs, family circumstances, social inequality, sexism, childbirth, domestic violence, loneliness - that's what the heroines face. And it is this "psychologist" with scissors in the hands of women who entrust all their secrets.

"Natural Selection," Russia’s Most Successful Web Series, Wraps Third Season

Every episode of 8 Angry Women - This is the confession of one of the heroines. Their stories are not similar to each other, but, as it turns out, these women have a lot in common. The project is created using the verbatim technique - when real monologues are played out by actors. And, as the creators are sure, it is this technique that is able to really hook the viewer, because all these stories are alive, relevant and inspiring.

The project is directed by Alexander Sukharev, who made the films "Watch my love", "Olympic village". The co-director and scriptwriter was the actress Anastasia Gorodentseva , for whom this story is a debut.

" It was our project-experiment. We wanted to convey the maximum through the minimum. We shot in the same scenery with a minimum of actors and relied on monologues and emotions in the frame. We showed the pilot of the series at ten international film festivals and received very positive and interesting reviews. And now it's time to show it to the audience. We are very worried and hope that the stories we told will also be close to those who see it, and they will feel what we started all this for. And it is very significant for us that the series is released in the CHILL web cinema, which is the main platform for short content in the country, where there is a large audience of different ages and formats, "said director Alexander Sukharev.
