Le Dix de Los Vascos 2015

In commemoration of 10 years of DBR (Lafite)'s work in Chile, the first "grande cuvée" LE DIX was created. Le Dix de Los Vascos originates from 70-year-old vines located in the terroir known as "El Fraile". This is a wine of exceptional complexity, balance and elegance, with powerful tannins and aromas of very ripe fruit accentuated by spicy notes of cedar, laurel and eucalyptus.

Summer’s Here and The Wine is Sparkling Rosé

From one of the most critically esteemed houses in the world, Le Dix 2015 has a beautiful ruby red color. Gorgeous aromas of raspberry and ripe cherry intermingle with notes of black pepper, cocoa, walnut skin, graphite, tobacco, and cedar. On the palate, this magnificently balanced wine presents a harmonious structure, with refined tannins. A truly elegant offering.

Los Vascos Grande Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

A more moderate wine, Los Vascos Grande Reserve is a benchmark for elegance and finesse in Chile. A blend consisting mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon, it is produced using traditional vinification and maturing techniques. The wine is characterized by the complexity and persistence of its bouquet of cherries and blackcurrants (Cabernet Sauvignon), strawberries (Malbec), raspberries (Syrah) and plums, with notes of bay leaves and black pepper (Carmenère).

TASTING NOTES

Lovely ruby red color with brick-like nuances. Aromas of fresh, ripe fruit such as raspberries, cherries, and plums can be discerned in the nose, along with notes of cocoa, peppermint, black olive, white pepper, and prune. On the palate, an appealing style is backed up by powerful tannins. An easy-to-drink, extremely pleasant wine.

Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Cabernet Sauvignon is the classic grape of Los Vascos' vineyard and is the variety on which the estate has built its reputation. The common feature of all the vintages is ripe fruit, fresh aromas, and a supple, full-bodied structure. This wine has a sparkling ruby red color and a pleasantly fruity nose with aromas of black cherries, raspberries and plums, all with a hint of spice. This is a silky, flavorful wine, with a supple tannin structure. A great classic.

Vintage 2017 - 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon

The high temperatures that started very early in the season were the highlight of this vintage. In summer, not only the days were hot, night-time temperatures were also fairly high. Compared to the previous vintage, this season had 330 hours above 30º C versus 164 hours in 2016.
The harvest of the cabernet sauvignon began on April 5th and extended until May 17th.

TASTING NOTES
Deep and intense ruby red color. The nose features aromas of red fruit like plum, raspberry and cherry with savory notes as well as tobacco, toasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate and tapenade.
The mouth is dominated by the presence of young, lively tannins. Good concentration, nice structure and a persistent finish of great personality.

Domaines Barons de Rothschild wines are perfect for holiday festivities, parties, gift giving, and are wonderfully paired with traditional holiday meals.
