Saban Films Re-Ups President Bill Bromiley and CFO Shanan Becker

Saban Films announced today that President Bill Bromiley and Chief Financial Officer Shanan Becker have renewed their contracts with the Los Angeles-based film acquisition and distribution company for another four years through 2020.

Since its launch in May 2014, Saban Films has released 21 films with another 16 to be released through 2018. Saban continues to acquire commercial, talent-driven films to be released theatrically as well as across various digital platforms.

Saban’s successes have run the gamut from critically acclaimed theatrical films like Tommy Lee Jones’ The Homesman, to premiere VOD titles including I Am Wrath starring John Travolta, to one of the biggest Fathom events in 2016 with Rob Zombie’s horror thriller 31

Bromiley and Becker will continue to elevate the profile of Saban Films over the next four years as a competitive force in the acquisition and distribution of high-end independent films.  The company has been a very active buyer at festivals such as Berlin, Cannes, Toronto and Sundance - acquiring films such as The Homesman, The Last Face, The Girl with All the Gifts, The Forger and American Heist.  Prior to Saban Films the duo worked together at RLJ Entertainment, where Bromiley was responsible for content acquisition and Becker oversaw finance, planning, and analysis.
