Gravitas Ventures Acquires Scott Weintrob’s Paradox Effect

Leading independent film distributor Gravitas Ventures, An Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, announced today that they have acquired US and Canadian distribution rights from Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment of the action thriller Paradox Effect from director Scott Weintrob.
The director is coming off Peacock's "Orlando Bloom: To The Edge": he has previously directed an Emmy nominated episode of the Apple+ documentary series "Home." Paradox Effects is played by the industry veteran and Academy Award Nominee Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs, Bugsy) and by Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, To The Wonder). The film also stars Oliver Trevena (The Bricklayer, Plane), Meredith Mickelson (Bunny-Man, The Pickup Artist) and Alice Astons in her debut.

The film centers around an ex junkie who witnesses a murder. She is forced to cooperate with the killer to save her daughter's life. She must fight against time, the police, and the criminal underworld to save the only person who means something to her.
