The Academy Elects 2025-2026 Academy Foundation Board Members, Officers

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced the newly elected 2025-2026 Academy Foundation Board members and officers. The Academy Foundation Board comprises 12 trustees who also are members of the Academy Board of Governors.



The Academy Foundation oversees all educational, preservation, and cultural activities of the Academy, including the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the Academy's Margaret Herrick Library, the Academy Film Archive, the Academy Collection, and the Academy's talent development programs. 


Lynette Howell Taylor Elected Academy President

Casting director Kim Taylor-Coleman was elected president of the Academy Foundation Board.

Also elected to board officer positions:

Brooke Breton (Visual Effects Branch), Vice President
Simon Kilmurry (Documentary Branch), Treasurer
Isis Mussenden (Costume Designers Branch), Vice President
Marlon West (Animation Branch), Secretary

Academy Foundation Board members and officers serve one-year terms. As representatives of the Foundation Board, Howell Taylor, Kilmurry, and Taylor-Coleman will also serve on the Academy Museum Board of Trustees for one-year terms.
