The Wellesbourne, located on LA's westside, announces the launch of their new collection of sharable plates, elevated renditions of recognizable dishes with a Wellesbourne twist. Considered a "hidden gem" The Wellesbourne is also known for unique cocktails.
The sophisticated lounge atmosphere, with the decor of an intellectuals dream, beckon patrons visiting after-work for libations, late-night grazing or an elegant date-night.

"Because we are known for our cocktails, they served as the inspiration for our new dishes. We also took dishes our guests would know and added our own twist such as adding jalapeño aioli to wontons," says Benny Jasso, general manager, The Wellesbourne. "The cocktails pair perfectly with these sharable plates such as the Atlantic Salmon with the Oaxacan Old Fashioned."
Signature dishes include:
- Chicken Pot Pie Bites: the classic puff pastry filled with chicken and vegetables drizzled with cream.
- Prime Rib Wontons with Jalapeño Aioli: thin-sliced prime rib Philly cheesesteak in a flakey crust with house-made cheese sauce.
- Watermelon Jalapeño Bleu Cheese Salad: mixed greens with watermelon, bleu cheese and jalapeño tossed in a blackberry vinaigrette.
- Fish on a Chip: Guinness beer battered cod bites served on freshly-sliced house-made potato chips with light house seasoning.

- Avocado Toast with Poached Egg and Basil Oil: lightly -toasted sourdough with cherry tomato salad, poached egg and basil oil.
- Atlantic Salmon: Four-ounce grilled Atlantic salmon served with roasted potatoes, arugula and a cherry tomato salad glazed with lemon creme sauce.
- Prime Rib Open Faced Sandwich Bites: thin-sliced prime rib, bleu cheese, manchego cheese and caramelized onions served on a hero roll.
- The Blackberry Clucker: three buttermilk fried chicken slider, tangy blackberry jam, pepper jack cheese, mixed greens and jalapeño slices served on a Hawaiian roll.
- French Fries: regular or cheesy jalapeño bacon fries.
