Biden Visits Israel

In a show of solidarity with ally Israel, President Biden arrived on Wednesday to assure Prime Minster Benjamín Netanyahu, that the United States is prepared to aid and assist in every way. Aboard Air Force One the media was briefed on the President intent when speaking to Netanyahu and the Israeli War Cabinet.

During Biden's visit he stated he intended to ask Netanyahu and the members of the Israeli War Cabinet, as a true friend of Israel, some tough questions, which convey his intent.

According to Strategic Communications Director John Kirby, the President is "also going to make it clear that we continue to want to see this conflict not widen, not expand, not deepen.  And he'll make that point very clearly.  We do — we want to deter any actor, be it a state or a terrorist group, from widening and escalating" this conflict.

Israel-Palestine: Gaza Hospital Bombed

The Gaza Strip, which borders Israel, Egypt, and the Mediterranean Sea, has been heavily targeted by air strikes after the October 7, 2023, multi-pronged Hamas invasion that resulted in the brutal slaying of men, women and children in the initial moments of the terrorist attack.

"The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry said Saturday that the death toll has reached 4,385, while 13,561 people have been wounded. More than 1,400 people in Israel have been killed, mostly in the initial attack on Oct. 7 when Hamas militants stormed into Israel," PBS.org reported

On Tuesday, an air strike leveled the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza, killing nearly 500 civilians, and escalating the disinformation and propaganda campaign against Israel. Within 24 hours the United States had silenced the Hamas propaganda machine.

The intelligence reports from allies and other agencies revealed the hard truths of war: false flag operations are the cornerstone of most regimes who are low on global support. The al-Ahli hospital was hit by a rocket fired by a local jihadist group who had intended to shell the border and inflict mass casualty on Israeli soldiers.

World War III: Can U.S. Help Both Israel and Ukraine

Paint the Victim Bloody-Minded

The Wall Street Journal journalist Peggy Noonan writes, "It is hard to see how a full-scale ground invasion of Gaza would make Israel's position stronger. It will more likely bleed the country and deplete it, even as it produces an untold number of innocent casualties and a refugee crisis. It will make Israel look bloody-minded in the eyes of the world."

The idea of creating a scenario that makes "Israel look bloody-minded in the eyes of the world," may have worked in a simpler time. With the current geopolitical factions in the Ukraine, the world may be less inclined to accept the immediate assessment as factual.

Globally the Israeli war is seen, through the eye of the beholder, the lens of war is critical on all sides, the international media rightfully stands for freedom, and societies free from terrorism and so, rightly, this war is different in tactic but not in principle to the land grab led by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The cries of the wounded are the same, the sorrow of loss the same, Edwin Star a singer in 1969 sang as he criticized the Vietnam war, "War is only good for the undertaker," that has not changed. War is only good for the undertaker.

The citizens of Israel has the right to live in peace, the citizens of Gaza, and the West Bank have the right to live in peace, the challenge is to stop the seed of generational hatred that continues to be planted, and nurtured until a new crop of young idealistic Palestinians who believe that Israel is the cause of all their problems and are responsible for the unbearable sorrow that has taken root in their souls from wars long over. War brings casualty and death and in the long run, unbearable loss, and sorrow.

In the "I have a Dream" speech, Martin Luther King Jr., wrote, of a future of peace, a future where two warring factions would be free to live integrated into society. President Ronald Regan asked former President Mikhail Gorbachev what many consider an absurd question, "could we bury our difference to fight an alien invasion."

Of course, the answer was yes, and a starting point emerged. The two sides, Israeli and Palestine, who needs to be more proactive in squashing the extremist's terror groups, Hamas, and Hezbollah, essentially the Aliens of our society. Can the two sides Israel and the Palestine, who fought for more than 50 years to be recognized as a state, unite to destroy the alien among us.

Globally, leaders have explained Hamas does not represent the state of Palestine, if that is true, then they will fight, side by side with the Israeli army to uproot the deep-seeded Hamas and Hezbollah terror cells breeding in the country. If they refuse, attempt to counter, to play the narcissist card and become the hunter-victim and point the blame at Israel than the intention is clear; they have not now, nor have they ever been dedicated to a peaceful co-existence, a time when the sons and the daughters could walk hand in hand.

World News: Hamas Unprovoked Attack - A Never-Ending Story

Lulled into Complacency - Intel Failures Aid Hamas Attack

Sixteen days have passed since the surprise terrorist attack stunned Israelis as Hamas loyalists, a terror organization funded by Iran living and recruiting in the state of Palestine that occupies the coastal Gaza Strip, and the interior West Bank killing men, women, children, slaughtering pregnant women, murdering their unborn babies, setting remains on fire, torture unseen since the days of World War II Adolf Hitler and the Nazi SS.

Surrounding geographically by enemies, and the enemies of my enemies, Israeli Intelligence has over the years become known for their precision and determined effort in recent years to dismantle Iran's nuclear program through computer virus which have proven highly successful and greatly reduced the possibility of mass casualty events by keeping the "war" within the boundaries of those responsible for it.

The intelligence failure by Israeli Military Intelligence (aka Aman) and Israel Security Agency Shabak (aka Shin Bet) responsible for Israeli safety, is a mirror to the United State intelligence failure that led to the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks of September 11, 2001.

The border between the Gaza Strip and Israel, is not simply a stretch of sand without built-in alarm systems. The border region is essentially a land mine of motion detectors, sensors, military personal, well-guarded Israeli bases. So how could Hamas storm through?

"At the root of this blunder appear to be two fundamental failures. The first is conceptual, as was famously the case in 1973: A false but steady and solid joint estimate from the Shin Bet and Aman that consisted of two elements: First, Israeli military and intelligence superiority would deter Hamas from initiating any major military act; and second, if Hamas launched such an attack, the Shin Bet and Aman would provide a timely warning," Foreignpolicy.com reported.

The Israeli defense system, like a collapsible cup, that has protected Israeli citizens from frequent Hamas and Hezbollah terror attacks collapsed. Even as the time of the invasion approached, the limited intelligence that raised possibilities of an unknown and not outside containment breech, similar to the Sunday morning Peral Harbor, Hawaii fly-over by Japanese pilots, it was dismissed and possible but inconsequential.

Coronavirus Totals

The CDC has recommended every person from age six months, including senior citizens, should receive at least one shot of an updated covid vaccine.

Mandates have been altered or lifted in most urban areas with limited exceptions, and the population is encouraged to maintain personal protective practices. Masks are optional and tolerated. Vaccines and boosters are still considered the most effective agents against contracting the Coronavirus.

For the 7-day period ending October 22, 2023, the total of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide reached 771,191,203 confirmed cases, an increase over the past 7 days of 216,622 cases worldwide. The total worldwide death toll increased by 11,138 to 6,972,152 deaths. The United States has stopped providing Covid data to the World Health Organization. (Data updated October 18, 2023, from The World Health Organization).

COVID U.S. Totals

As hospitalizations and infection rates continue to rise in the United States, some jurisdictions are suggesting new mask mandates. For the 7-day period ending October 22, 2023, new Covid hospitalizations in the U.S. increased by 16,559 to 6,422,520. The coronavirus has claimed 1,148,691 total U.S. deaths, adding 1,438 deaths, over the past week. (Data updated October 14, 2023, posted October 20, 2023, from the CDC).

Pentagon's Diary Gets Personal

Protecting for gain of function knowledge only aides those who initiated the constitutional violations. It does nothing to combat homegrown terrorism.

GOP House Majority Fails To Elect Speaker (Again)

The GOP House majority has once again failed to unite behind a speaker causing disruption and sending a message to their constituents of an inability actively work together on any issue. While House GOP members see the moves as an effort to find a candidate who possesses ideologies that encompass both moderates and hard-liners, voters see this as a failure to put aside political jockeying and unify behind a candidate.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) was removed after three failed attempts to secure the majority votes needed to secure the Speaker of the House position. "The move leaves the Republican conference without a nominee more than two weeks after the ouster of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as speaker. House Republicans will return Monday to start the process again," The Washington Post reported.

Justice Watch: And They Got Away With It (Part 4)

Natalee Holloway Murder Solved

The murder of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, who disappeared 18 years ago, on the last night of her senior trip to Aruba, has been solved after a full confession from the last person to have seen her alive and the only suspect in the case.

Joran Van der Sloot, confessed to bludgeoning the teen with a cinder block after she rejected his advances and "pushed her off" into the ocean. "Van der Sloot said Holloway kneed him in the crotch after he tried "feeling her up," and he responded by kicking her in the face and bludgeoning her with the cinder block," CNN reported.

In 2005, Van der Sloot murdered Stephany Flores Ramirez, 21, and was sentenced to the maximum sentenced allowed by Peruvian law, which means he will be eligible for released in 2045. He pled guilty extortion after trying to sell information to the Holloway family on the location of Natalee's remains. He was sentenced to 20 years which will run simultaneously.
