Robert Luketic To Helm Lakeshore Entertainment’s Romantic Comedy “The Wedding Year” Starring Sarah Hyland

Lakeshore Entertainment announced today that rom-com veteran Robert Luketic (Legally Blonde, Monster-in-Law, The Ugly Truth) will direct the ensemble romantic comedy The Wedding  Year, with award-winning actress Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) leading the cast. Don Diego wrote the screenplay.

LA photographer Mara Hickey (Hyland) is never getting married. So, when she and her new ready-to-settle-down boyfriend are invited to fifteen weddings in the same year, the pressure is on Mara to make some big decisions.

Lakeshore's Gary Lucchesi, Marc Reid and Mark Korshak will produce. Sarah Hyland will executive produce. Production will begin in Los Angeles on May 21st, 2018.

This will mark Robert Luketic's second collaboration with Lakeshore, following the 2009 smash hit rom-com The Ugly Truth, starring Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler.
