Amelia Dimoldenberg Named Academy’s Official Social Media Ambassador

UK comedian and broadcaster Amelia Dimoldenberg will serve as the face of the 96th Oscars® social media campaign in the role of Social Media Ambassador and Red-Carpet Correspondent.  She will participate in key events throughout the awards season. At the Oscars Nominees Luncheon, Dimoldenberg will participate in an Academy video production featuring nominees.  She will also capture an “Oscars 96 Behind the Scenes Tour” and interview nominees and talent on the Oscars red carpet.

Dimoldenberg created and hosts the YouTube series “Chicken Shop Date” in which she conducts interviews with global actors, musicians, athletes and pop-culture figures.  Her videos have amassed 2.2 million subscribers, 416 million views and 19.5 million hours of content watched.  Having worked numerous high-profile awards and events, Dimoldenberg has made a name for herself with her refreshing take on the red carpet interview.
