An Evening of Food & Foto’s for Foundation Rwanda

The 2013 DreamBall will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 pm followed by dinner at 7:30 pm.  The Young Friends of the DreamBall will present the Third Annual After Dark party from 9:30 – midnight.

The DreamBall is the primary source of funding for the Look Good Feel Better program, a free non-medical, brand-neutral public service program created to help individuals with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence.

Since its inception 29 years ago, the DreamBall has raised more than $40 million, enabling 800,000 women to participate in group programs.   The 2013 goal is to raise an additional $2.5 million, which would provide funding for 50,000 women to participate in the program's workshop.

Founded in 1989 by the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, the charitable arm of the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC), Look Good…Feel Better helps women cope with the appearance side effects of cancer treatment through group programs, self-help materials, web site based materials and programs (www.lookgoodfeelbetter.org), and brochures.  PCPC is the leading national trade association representing the global cosmetic and personal care products industry.

The program's workshops are run by hundreds of volunteers from these organizations, providing inspiration both for them as well as the program participants.

Supporting the DreamBall comes in many forms, from sponsorship packages and contributions to table purchases and advertising in the evening's journal. All Patron level sponsors will be acknowledged by the Contributions Chairman on-stage the evening of the event and in pre-and post publicity to PCPC Council and Board members.
