Kings of Beer Review - Grab a Bud, Channel Paul Newman and Take a Long, Cool, Refreshing, Sip

Kings of Beer, from Gravitas Ventures and Ace Content, presents the hidden secrets from inside the majestic and storied walls of Anheuser-Busch breweries as the Master Breweries from each bottling factory vie for the title of King of Beer.

Gravitas Ventures, ACE Content, United Talent Agency, and Budweiser hosted the world premiere of Kings of Beer in Los Angeles last night.  Director Sean Mullin, Chef Michael Voltaggio, and film subjects Pete Kraemer, Jane Killebrew, Mike Kraemer, Natalie Johnson, Tim Seitz, Jeff Jones, Eric Carteciano, and Summer Anderson stepped out for photos on the red carpet.

Following the screening, Chief Global Brewmaster and a 5th Generation Brewer Pete Kraemer led the guests through a tasting of Budweiser that was actually brewed earlier that very day in the Van Nuys brewery.

Chef Michael Voltaggio, who also makes a cameo in the film, created a special menu inspired by Budweiser’s American Lager, featuring oysters with Budweiser mignonette ice.

Produced by ACE Content and featuring unprecedented behind-the-scenes access, KINGS OF BEER is a never-before-seen look at the rigorous standards and intense competition that characterizes the brewing of the world-renowned “King of Beers.”

The film Kings of Beer centers on a diverse group of elite Brewmasters from 65 breweries and 23 countries, as they battle it out in an intense competition to brew the world's most iconic American Lager -- Budweiser.

Judged by an illustrious group of experts who are sequestered deep within the historic walls of "Room 220" (St. Louis, Missouri) -- the most renowned room in the brewing world, which is responsible for ensuring the quality of over a quarter of the world's beer -- the Brewmaster who can brew the best, most consistent American Lager over a 12-month period will bring home the coveted Global Brewmaster Cup.

Brian Banks Review - Gripping, A Rare Exoneration Highlights Shocking Injustice

Kings of Beer does more than present a never-before-seen look at the rigorous standards and intense competition that characterizes the brewing of the world’s most iconic American Lager, the film introduces the world to the people behind the brand. At Budweiser the team is an important element of the success and the film presents aspects of the personalities of those brew masters from each bottling facility represented in the annual competition.

Like the Superbowl, no one remembers the runner-up. These Brew masters are in it to win it. It is a take no prisoner, all in, fight to the finish with only one brew master taking home the trophy of Kings of Beer. Granted this is an internal competition, the best of the best, as the breweries each month send in the best bud brew for the tasters, seasoned veterans of the Brew Challenge prepare the monthly judging.

Each month the group narrows with the best rising to the top, soon, by October it’s still anyone’s game with the top five, spending long hours ensuring that the final three samples are the optimum, the best of even the very best: For they know there is only one Brew Master.

Kings of Beer is an informative, funny, and interesting look at brewing America’s Beer, Budweiser, which is known around the world as the King of Beers.
