The 95th Academy Awards have finally arrived and Haute-Lifestyle.com's Publisher Janet Walker is live and in the winner's room where 300 members of the global media have gathered and are waiting to interview the Oscar winners.
The road to the Academy Awards have been a tumultuous trek has so many strong talent contenders were surprisingly left out when the nominations were announced. And of course, the apparent steamroll of "Everything, Everywhere All At Once," who has picked up nearly every major award throughout the season leads going into the night with 11 nominations appears ready to sweep.
Academy Awards: Final Slate of Presenters Announced Includes Halle Berry, Paul Dano, Harrison Ford
Back in person after a two year hiatus, the Academy Awards have signaled the worst of the pandemic is behind us and leading up to the entertainment industry's biggest night the conversations were filled with a familiar pushback over agism, sexism, racism, #metoo, and the director's boy's club. A welcome change from the harsh realities of the coronavirus.
Here's to another great year of theatrical releases, streaming, big budget blockbusters and the indies that seem to capture the heart with resonating performances that stand the test of time.
Haute-Lifestyle.com will be updating live. Winner's will be in bold.
