Beltway Insider: African Agenda Global Challenge; ISIS; Malaysian MH370/MH17; Climate Win; Bill Cosby

President Obama plans a major announcement this week to compliment the twelve nation Asian Pan Pacific declaration that for the first time included environmental protection, from tundra to island ecosystems, coral reefs and rain forests, in the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

According to Gallup, President Obama's job approval, over the past week, increased one percentage point to 47% of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President and those who disapprove of his effectiveness as President decreased one percentage point to 49%.

African Agenda Global Challenge

President Obama initiated his trip to Africa with the Power Africa agenda, a multi-nation and private investment opportunity to bring to a nation of darkness the possibility of clean energy to transform the inroads, highways and byways powering the continent of Africa.

He continued to his agenda presenting the emerging nation agenda including the current issues in the South Sudan, Somalia and other regional counterterrorism issues to Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour, and African Union Commission Chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma.

President Obama continued his travels through the nation and remains devoted to the development of the nation of Africa. His policy, on several issues, remains similar to Iraq, in so much that in-fighting among warring nations or tribes must be handled internally.

"As the President has said repeatedly throughout this trip and going back to his first trip to Africa, Africa is for the Africans to sort out.  External actors, even ones as interested as the United States, can't do it for them," said Ben Rhodes, Deputy White House National Security Advisor.

Global Entrepreneurship Summit

The President also invited several America business leaders to address the people of the continent to emphasize the need for citizens to see the potential and possibility of building their own pathways to financial recovery.

Assisting the President in this belief and presentation were Steve Case, the CEO of Revolution, Julie Hanna, Executive Chair of the Board at Kiva, Daymond John, the CEO and founder of FUBU, Nils Tcheyan, who is the Director of Government Relations for GE Africa.

Africa is constantly evolving. Changing the infrastructure, according to Tcheyan of GE, in partnership with the University of Nairobi Technology Center will ultimately affect every aspect of the supply and demand marketplace.

Encouraging the people to understand adversity is the birthplace of invention the people of Africa are suddenly the focus of the entire world's assistance to elevate the nation allowing its inhabitants to become globally competitive.

With the most advanced nations of the world working continually developing solid blueprints addressing each area from energy and infrastructure to sustainability the United States and G7 has handed the baton to the African nations, with a solid lead the race is theirs to lose.

ISIS Releases Video of Murders; Turkey Syrian Border

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, ISIS, has stepped up its fear control and domination campaign with the release of videotapes depicting the murders of prisoners in sadistically barbaric methods.

Iraqi military prisoners have been caged and drowned, submerging the men in pits of water, similar to Jordanian Pilot Lt. Mu'ath al-Kassasbehand who was caged and burned to death. Others have been forced into automobiles that are targeted for weapons training and can be heard screaming as they are burned to death.

Others tapes depict ISIS children participating in the murders.

Turkey Syrian Border

The Turkey Syrian Border has become the latest stronghold the coalition is concentrating on and stepping up its efforts to assist the Turkish government in stopping the free movement of ISIS/ISIL.

"In particular, there is this stretch of the Turkey-Syria border, it's about 68 miles long, that essentially is the remaining corridor that ISIL can use to access money, supplies and even personnel along the Turkish border.  And what the focus of our efforts will be is intensifying our efforts around that region of Syria to essentially shut off the access that ISIL has to the border right now," Earnest said.

Malaysian Air Flight 370

Parts from Malaysian flight MH370, which disappeared from radar nearly two years ago, dropping off the grid one hour into its routine flight, are believed to have been found.

The nearly two meter tail section was spotted near Reunion Island in the South Pacific some 3200 miles from the original suspected search area, off the eastern coastline of Australia initiated by the Australian, Malaysian and French governments.

"The NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) is a worldwide leader and a recognized expert when it comes to investigations like this.  And there have been earlier stages in the investigation where the NTSB has been able to play an important role in offering some advice to those who are responsible for this investigation and responsible for leading the search.  So the NTSB will continue to be involved in that way.  But for specifics about what exactly they're doing, I'd refer you to that agency," said Josh Earnest, White House Press Secretary.

According to sources, the position of the large pieces would be accurate due to underwater ocean currents that are believed to have carried the doomed jet after the initial intentional downing or sea crash.

Theories still active have ruled out a midair catastrophic break up of any kind as no debris field existed. Which leads investigators to focus more on the intentional downing even the possibility of an attempted water, island landing.

At full speed the jet would have drilled deep into the underwater topography altering the sea floor structure and pattern and possibly creating an atoll or other type of reef.

Barnacles are reportedly attached and can through intense laboratory testing provide investigators with additional information even to the species of sea life and if it is common to the area in which the piece was found.

Determining the origin of the sea life attached to the plane should provide clues as to its final resting place.

Ukraine/Malaysian Air Flight MH17

Vice President Joseph Biden has recently spoke with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko continuing the reunification agenda initiated by leaders of the G7 and United Nations.

Central to those global efforts to persuade Russian President Vladimir Putin to relinquish control over all territories once belonging to the Ukraine are the continuing ground efforts to restore civil unification and order.

The urgency of seeking justice in the Malaysia Airlines MH-17 tragedy, shot down by Russian separatists, is now the focus of an international tribunal and the expectation is of support throughout the newly formed Ukrainian government as well as the international community.

"The two leaders also discussed the implementation of the Minsk agreements, and the Vice President welcomed President Poroshenko's proposal to create a 30-kilometer zone free of tanks, artillery and mortar systems along the line of contact in eastern Ukraine, to be monitored by the OSCE. Both leaders agreed that Russia and Russia-backed separatists had still failed to fully implement the first few steps under the February 12, 2015 Minsk Implementation Plan calling for a ceasefire and the removal of heavy weapons from the line of contact," Vice President Biden said in a released statement.

Climate Scores Victory with Pan Pacific Partnership

If the accord is completed, it will rope together 40 percent of the global economy under an expansive set of commercial rules governing intellectual property, labor and environmental standards, market access for exports and protections for international investors.

Under the agreement, the 12 countries -- encompassing places like the Peruvian rain forest and the diverse Mekong Delta in Vietnam -- must commit to obeying existing wildlife trafficking treaties and its own environmental laws.

Environmentally destructive subsidies, like cheap fuel to power illegal fishing vessels and governmental assistance for boat making in overfished waters, are banned. The chapter singles out the "long-term conservation of species at risk," like sea turtles, sea birds and marine mammals and "iconic marine species such as whales and sharks."

The effects of the environmental agreement could be broad, both for the nations in the deal and those outside. The 12 countries account for more than a quarter of the global seafood trade and about a quarter of the world's timber and pulp production.

Five of the countries rank among the world's most biologically diverse. Some, like Vietnam and Malaysia, have long faced criticism for illegal wildlife trafficking, like rhino horns. Japan has been repeatedly scrutinized for its treatment of whales and dolphins.

The World Bank has estimated that as much as 80 percent of Peru's logging exports are harvested illegally.Failure to comply would subject the singing nations to the same government-to-government compliance procedures as any other issue covered by the trade agreement, potentially culminating in trade sanctions.

U.S. negotiators hope that just the threat of economic sanctions would bolster relatively weak environmental ministries in countries like Peru, Malaysia and Vietnam. –

IOC Changes Rules for 2024; Awards China 2022 Winter Olympics

In a close vote the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced Bejing, the capital of the Republic of China will host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

It is the second hosting for the communist country, who also played host in 2008 Summer Olympics. The human rights violations which became a center piece of debate has not improved over the last fourteen years and still a concern. In addition to tourism an Olympic city can expect a potential revenue in the billions from endorsement opportunities, tourism and hospitality, memorabilia, food and beverage.

The IOC also announced a recent rule change that eases the applicant city process abolishing a middle elimination process that automatically places second tier cities into the final stage.

The current cities vying for the summer 2024 include Paris, Rome, Hamburg, Germany and Budapest Hungry. The United States has one unknown city bid after Boston withdrew due to lack of interest. Los Angeles is the presumed United States consideration city.

Bill Cosby: A Drowning Man

Legendary funny man, Bill Cosby has yet to publicly admit his life of comedy was hiding his alternative personality which has only recently been revealed in stunning fashion as a serial rapist.

A recent cover of New York Magazine featured 35 seated females, all races, predominately white, mostly middle aged, all entertainment industry professionals who came forward when the initial allegation began to surface.

All understand the legal system and its penchant for harboring or coddling the criminal which is equally true on the studio level as offensives, criminal, civil, committed by talent especially of highly successful television shows are generally overlooked.

The New York Times recently reported during deposition Bill Cosby admitted to drugging women for the purpose of sex (the act of un-consensual sexual penetration). He is still lauded publically and finally the women are slowly being given their day.

Tactics employed by law enforcement often protect the predator. Allowing the passage of time as the old adage, "Time heals all wounds" or hoping the passage of time will dull the memory, all popular tactics used and utilized to stop the prosecution of violent, coddled criminals.

Typical abuse mentality which is why prosecution is called the second rape. The judicial system adversely believes that women actually don't want sexual activity outside their particular boundaries as generally detectives making decisions are male and psychologically men are thinking of sexual activity every two to three minutes which clouds the judicial process and makes every lie believable.

Law enforcement often aids rapists, who discount the female version of events, deducing the situation as consent then remorse, or financial incentive, lobbying the same lies and defamations the predator toss.

During the more than two decades of Cosby's rapists crimes, law enforcement leaders who now serve as commissioners to the nation's top law enforcement agencies were in ranks, in charge and making decisions to allow the predator to continue.

Rape is a weapon of war and is meant to silence. How many unknown victims have yet to come forward? How many have committed suicide?

Cosby's war is within himself, and as he was given the freedom to exact a revenge on those innocent of aiding and abetting the imprisoning of a people, a race.

Victim X and the Lost Rape Cases of Hudson County, NJ

I advocate on behalf of Victim X, another lost case in Hudson County, NJ who has yet to see justice for the crimes committed against her.

Bobbi Kristina Brown

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child for the late superstar Whitney Houston and R & B singer Bobby Brown was laid to rest this week. She was 22.

A long simmering family feud between the Houston and Brown families erupted at the memorial service. Both sides shouting and blaming the other for more than the death of the only child of the two musical stars as tempers and longstanding commitments not to interfere ended.

Brown was found face down in tub in her home in late February. She was rushed to the hospital and declared brain dead.

Her family, in prayer, believed in the possibility of a miracle healing.  Trusting God to bring about His plan, they waited to disconnect the ventilator that assisted Ms. Brown's breathing. A consistent diagnosis brought the family to a final decision. She was moved to hospice care and died on July 26.

Ms. Brown was buried, August 2, one week before what would have been her mother's 51st birthday.

She never regained consciousness.
