Spring Into Style With New Additions To The Bentley Collection

Bentley today announces its new additions to the Bentley Collection for spring. Leather jackets inspired by the world of driving, and a luxurious range of cashmere scarves, made their debut at Geneva Motor Show.

Leather jackets for men and women bring Bentley luxury into the wardrobe, Bentley lightweight Cashmere launched in pastel shades, a pop-up Bentley Boutique at the Geneva Motor Show featured the classic Bentley handbag collection.

Leather Jackets

Designed to be beautiful without compromising practicality, the leather jacket range echoes the craftsmanship and exquisite materials displayed in the interior of a Bentley. Available for men and women, each is created from lamb skin and arrives in perfect time for the transitional spring period.

The masculine version captures a sporting aesthetic in Navy leather, the back evoking the cobra design of a Continental GT’s seats. The practicalities of driving are reflected through additional functionality. The zipped neck pocket conceals a dual collar, with an extension that can be exposed when driving a convertible and in need of additional wind protection.

The jacket is fully reversible and can be transformed into a sporting down jacket, creating a fresh look in periods of unpredictable weather. The quilted interior lining, crafted from a water-resistant cotton suit fabric, protects from light showers, with leather revealed in the piping, helm, and collar.

The ladies’ version plays with proportions while classic Bentley design cues enhance timeless appeal. Available in hues of Red and Dark Sand, inside the leather exterior a twin-stitched quilted interior is revealed. Trims are executed in a unique polka dot motif, inspired by the legendary Bentley Boy Tim Birkin’s scarves, in a nod to Bentley’s racing heritage.

Bentley’s design language is evident throughout each garment. A winged theme characterizes the chest of the jackets, and has recognizable origins in the symmetrical design of a Continental GT dashboard; the vertical split providing a dynamic and interesting look.

Like the cars which form their inspiration, each jacket is handcrafted, using a fold and stitch leather technique. Though labor intensive, only this style of execution can result in the extensively tailored look, by creating stretch areas that permit maximum freedom of movement and comfort while driving.

Bentley Cashmere

A new range of lightweight Bentley Cashmere scarves for ladies has cooler spring days wrapped up. To be unveiled at Geneva Motor Show, the capsule collection comprises a range of dip-dyed cashmere stoles and damier squares, in pastel shades evocative of spring/summer weather.

Designed, developed, and made in Britain, the cashmere is carefully sourced from Inner Mongolia and is meticulously inspected before manufacturing, ensuring consistency in each and every Bentley Cashmere scarf.

Also featuring at the Bentley Boutique in Geneva is the much coveted Bentley Handbag collection, transforming the functional luxury of Bentley models into an accessory to be cherished. 

The Barnato, named after Diana Barnato, a legendary English aviatrix and daughter of Woolf Barnato, former Bentley chairman, and the Continental, named after the iconic Bentley GT, are staples in any true Bentley Girl’s collection. Both are available in an array of vibrant and classic color combinations to flatter any ensemble.
