Quintero Golf Club Review - Four Stars! Sonoran Desert Beauty, Secluded Championship Play, Elevation Challenges

The Golden Door Spa is located at the properties furthest point with all areas, including one of the top fifteen Golf Courses in the world, three restaurants, Tennis Courts and three pools, accessible by cars as well.

The Boulders Casitas are decorated in warm tones of brown, tans and sandstone. The well appointed Deluxe Superior Casitas, the size of a large two room studio, include a comfortable main room, with luxurious double bed, enveloping cloud like mattress with goose down pillows, desk and stationary supplies, two overstuffed leather chairs and reading settee separating the sleeping area from the reading/relaxing/living section.

A 42 inch flat screen television hangs above the working fireplace which is prepared with logs, wicks, matches and extra wood. Room service is available until midnight and additional wood is complimentary.

Casitas feature patio or balconies with optional views of either the Desert Foothills or the Golf greens. Each room features complimentary Mountain Green coffee and teas, a well stocked wet bar, with delicious wines, sweet and dry snacks and soft drinks.

CLIFT San Francisco Hotel Review - Contemporary Elegance, Old World Charm

The dressing area with full size walk-in closet and built-in double chest of drawers, bath, and shower with double vanity and make-up station are a separate room.  The Boulders Resorts & Spa provides complimentary Clear by Jean-Jacques beauty products, shampoos, conditions, loofa, body soaps and lotions.

No trip to The Boulders would be complete without visiting The Golden Door Spa. Uponentering one is greeted by a large wood burning fireplace that takes center stage in the circular main room. The gym and fitness area are located right of the main room and steam, sauna, and relaxation area to the left. Outdoor, a thirty meter, pool and Jacuzzi complete the fitness area. Koi ponds and gentle babbling brooks weave through the landscaped rock beds.

A retreat from the chaotic world of stress and demands, the Steam room, a favorite of mine anywhere, was so relaxing with high heat steam penetrating into the deep muscles, it was so very warm, calming and truly soothed and erased the morning travel tension. So to allow guests additional enjoyment, The Golden Door Spa provides ice cloths, to cool pressure points, at the Stream Room entrance.

Four Seasons Scottsdale Review – Expect the Unexpected

The Japanese Soaking Bath, similar to a Jacuzzi without the jets and high temperature, provides a slightly lower water temperature than the outdoor Jacuzzi and is located outside the steam room. Resting lounges are provided to add to the complete stress reduction. Gentle Japanese garden sounds along watercress drink and lemon grass juice.

The Golden Door Spa’s Fitness area consists of a full gym with cardio machines and free weights. Classes are provided in a variety of mind/body disciplines from Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates and strength training to outdoor sports preparation and exercise including Golden Door Power Walk, Golf Stretch in preparation for a day on the links and Conditioning and Boulder Hikes on the 12-million-year old Boulder piles.  Additional mental focused activities include Neurobics, a brain fitness class designed to increase mental awareness and Labyrinth Meditation and Awareness through Movement.
