President Donald Trump continues to face scrutiny from the House Oversight Committee, as victims of convicted pedophile and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein call for action and begin providing shocking and appalling testimony to the committee.
The President's job approval rating, according to Gallup featured in The New York Times for the period ending September 6, 2025, of those polled who approve of his effectiveness as President remained consistent at 40% and those who disapprove of his effectiveness as president remained consistent at 56%. A slight 3% of the population polled have no opinion. Ratings are calculated weekly.

House Oversight Committee Meeting
The House Oversight Committee met this week with six of Jeffrey Epstein's victims which created a rare, and surprising show of emotion, and determined effort to dismantle the well-constructed cover-up, that has allowed many wealthy and politically connected patrons of the disgraced financier to elude justice.
Democratic New Mexico Representative Melanie Stansbury and House Oversight Committee member, who left the meeting early, visibly shaken by the shocking revelation presented by the victims, said, in the New Mexico Political Report, "that victims revealed not only the trauma of hundreds (maybe thousands) of young women, but a cover-up of epic proportions involving the wealthy, the well-connected, and even our own government—all the way to the top. Let me be clear: we will not stop," Stansbury told reporters after a closed-door briefing with six Epstein victims that left some lawmakers in tears. "We will follow every thread, every document and every bank record until there is justice."
As the victims, many who have believe waiting for their government to respond would be the appropriate form of action, have decided that turning up the volume, and moving forward releasing as much information as possible, is the path that will lead to change.
Members of congress on both sides of the aisle have united in this effort. Representative, Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA) have co-signed legislation to bypass efforts by House Speaker Republican Mike Johnson and force a vote on the floor for the full release of the files. The legislation, which would need 218 votes to secure a victory, has the endorsement of 212 democrats and, currently four republicans have joined with Massie in support of the legislation that would force a full release of the Epstein files.
"Behind the scenes, the White House has been trying to kill the petition, targeting the trio of GOP women who have signed on, as well as the other Republicans who might join them, members said. "President Trump has been very clear on this for a while, including again this morning: This is being pushed by Democrats to distract from his wins," one Trump adviser told NBC News on Friday (though many of the calls for releasing the Epstein files have come from within the president's own party)," NBCnews.com reported.
The victims are again stuck in the quagmire of government and have finally realized that to build the coalition that they are hoping will force change, they will have to do it on their own or the nasty business of politics will continue to cover-up the dirty deeds of the elite and those given coverage under the much used but not official special privileges law.

Immigration Raid on Georgia Hyundai Plant
A surprise Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid, at an Ellabell, Georgia, Hyundai-LG automobile manufacturing plant has netted 475 individuals mostly South Koreans, with various visa issues that resulted in them working in the United States illegally.
As both South Korean officials and the Department of Homeland Security attempted to sort through the shocking action, which seem to be aided by layers of subcontractors, which created chaos, as the expectation would be that any Visa issues would be handled by the hiring party, and unfortunately, each subcontractor is hired by another subcontractor adding another layer of complexity or illegality, making the paper trail and the responsibility harder to trace. At the end of the day, however, those paying the penalty are the 475 workers who have been detained for working in the U.S. illegally.
Department of Homeland Security Special Agent in Charge, "Mr. [Steve] Schrank said that the 475 people who had been detained "were illegally present in the United States or in violation of their presence in the United States, working unlawfully." Some illegally crossed the border into the United States, he said. Others came in through a visa waiver and were prohibited from working, he added, or they had overstayed their visas," The New York Times reported.
The Georgia plant was scheduled to open in 2026 and heralded as a Trump job creation jewel and the type of foreign investment the president has touted. At present, especially as Trump is imposing high tariffs on imports, which include parts used in the manufacture of Hyundai vehicles, the opening of the Georgia plant may be slowed.

China, Russia, North Korea Summit
Chinese President Xi-Jinping, 72, Russia President Vladimir Putin, 72, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, 41, met this week in China for a summit as the three dictatorial nations are determined to present themselves as a united front against Western influences.
The meeting, which coincided with he 80th Anniversary of the end of World War II, was the front for the men, who have never met together to coalesce their common goals and beliefs. The summit also included a Chinese military parade, which showcased China's massive weaponry.
"Crowds of over 50,000 in Tiananmen Square witnessed laser weapons, nuclear ballistic missiles, and even robotic wolves - a display that will now be heavily scrutinized by Western defense officials, our security correspondent writes. All but two Western leaders chose not to attend the parade, while 26 heads of state joined," BBC.com reported.
As China is a leader in the robotic industry, the idea of robotic soldiers, and other unmanned robotic weaponry is expected. Also on display were Beijing's newest unmanned ariel fleet, unmanned aquatic drones capable of diving up to 20 meters (65 feet), hyper sonic glide and cruise missiles travel at or above Mach 5, which is unsurpassed in the world, and the J20 Mighty Fighting Jet employes 5th generation stealth technology.
With all this on display, for the entire world to see, one wonders what weaponry President Xi-Jinping is keeping away from public view.
North Korea's Kim Jong Un Introduces Daughter and Heir
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un presents his daughter, Kim Ju Ae, 13, and apparent successor, to Chinese President Xi-Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was the first international trip for Ju-Ae. She is being carefully educated, though homeschooling, and is expected to succeed her father as the nation's supreme leader, which is a surprisingly modern advancement.
As she remains under the careful watch of her father, and attends guarded and orchestrated events, the recent trip to Beijing and the introduction to world leaders, is a clear sign of her future significance to the nation. While her father Kim Jong Un attended the International School of Berne, in Switzerland, it remains to be seen if Kim Ju Ae will continue to be homeschooled in Pyongyang, North Korea or when it is time for further education, she follows in his footsteps.

Rudy Giuliani To Receive Presidential Honor
President Donald Trump announced this week he would award former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, 81, with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor a citizen can receive.
Giuliani, who was once a revered and powerful attorney, serving as the United States Associate Attorney General and the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, was elected as New York City Mayor and served from 1994 to 2001.
Giuliani, who served as Trump's legal counsel during his first term, was held accountable by two poll workers in Georgia for defamation, during the contentious 2020 election, and they secured a huge financial award. In addition to the financial award, Giuliani was charged with 13 felonies including "overt acts in furtherance of the conspiracy," and subsequently disbarred, and his name and accomplishments during his service to the government and New York state were stricken from the records.
Recently, Giuliani was involved in a car accident, after performing a good Samaritan act. He was treated and released.
Crime: The History of DNA and Its Introduction in Crime Solving
Gilgo Beach Serial Killer Rex Heuermann
Lawyers for Rex Heuermann, 61, the Manhattan Architect accused in the murders of seven sex workers, were dealt a blow this week, as Suffolk County New York Judge Timothy Mazzei, ruled that advanced DNA analysis which traces highly degraded hair fibers is admissible.
The 29 page ruling marked a first for New York court, as defense attorney's argued the California based, Astrea Forensics does not hold a New York state permit and therefore any analysis conducted by the company must be deemed invalid.
The single rootless hair in question was found on the skeletal remains of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, in 2010, and testing revealed the hair found on the badly decomposed body, belong to Heuermann's wife. Heuermann is alleged to have used many of his home products, including duct tape, and transported the victims in his family vehicle, where the rootless hair could have been transferred to the victim.
"Prosecutors and experts say whole genome sequencing has the potential to allow researchers to generate a DNA profile of a suspect in instances where long accepted DNA techniques fall short, such as when a sample is very old or highly degraded, as is the case with the hair fragments found on the Gilgo Beach victims," APnews.com reported.
The advancement in DNA analysis should be praised, instead of degraded or challenged. Ridding the streets of predators should be the burden of every citizen.

Power broker and former head of Creative Artist Agency (CAA) Michael Ovitz explained to The Hollywood Reporter, "It's not that I felt powerful wearing one of Giorgio's suits; that's a myth," Ovitz points out. "They were beautiful suits, but the secret is that they were comfortable because they had this loose fit, and that was novel for the time. When you had to wear a suit from eight in the morning until you're getting home from a dinner after 10 p.m., comfort was important."
Soon from Wall Street to Hollywood the Armani suit redefined the power look and transformed men's fashion. His Haute-Couture looks were also in demand for women, as the fashions alone presented an understated sophistication and glamour, and became Armani began dressing many Academy Award winners.
In a time when conglomerates were buying up shares of other fashion Houses, Giorgio Armani remained open to the idea of allowing a percentage of his stock to be purchased, he wanted and waited for the perfect Italian partner, at the time of his death Armani was the only shareholder to the billion dollar global empire.
