The Fifth Annual Russian "Pilot" TV Series Festival Accepting Entries

The festival of series "Pilot" announces the dates and opens the acceptance of works for participation in the competition program. The 5th Russian TV series festival "Pilot" will be held from June 15 to 18 in the city of Ivanovo.

The competition program will feature the first episodes of new Russian TV series with a running time of more than 24 minutes. You can apply for participation on the official website of the festival until May 15, 2023.

"Pilot" is the main festival of Russian TV series. Every year, the show is attended by all industry participants - production companies, representatives of online platforms, TV series creators, actors, directors. It is planned that this year the festival will be extended by one day and strengthened by a rich business program, which will be attended by key market players.

The competition program of the festival will feature the first series of new projects created for online platforms and large television series premieres. A professional jury annually selects the best in the following nominations - Best Pilot Screenplay, Best Pilot Actor/Actress, Best Pilot Director, Best Pilot in the opinion of the jury and in the opinion of the audience, which is determined by audience voting. This year's innovation will be another nomination - the Best Producer. In addition, as part of the opening ceremony, a special prize will be awarded - the Best Showrunner of the Series.

In addition to the main competition, the festival will retain the Work in Progress program, which traditionally presents several high-profile projects that are under production. All screenings of the festival "Pilot" are open, guests and residents of Ivanovo can watch the competition program for free, by registration, which will open a day before the festival. Screenings will traditionally be held at the Lodz cinema.
